Ailment Thread
I figured I'd make a thread for what ailments and illnesses you may have at the moment. Instead of ruining other threads with gripe about the flu or breaking a hip. Like Melman we can whine all we want here about that newly discovered disease we may have.
I've got an infection (the kind that makes your snot really green), my knees and ankles ache along with the left side of my jaw (rugby injury) from the cold, and I can't stop drinking to let myself heal.

I hope you feel better. Headaches are evil.
I slipped on my porch and sprained my hand last week. Couldn't use my hand at all for about two days.It is still kind of painful to grip anything.
I'm also worried I'm slipping into a depression. I feel apathetic, angry, irritated and unmotivated most of the time the past month. Mostly apathetic. I just want to be left alone.
I try not to let it show too much in my posts, and this place generally makes me feel happy so it doesn't show too bad.
I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (Connective tissue and joint disorder) and the heat in Australia is messing with it big time.

I'm hungover. I took stuff for the headache, but I'm all puffy faced and it's ikky.
Pretty much all the babies had snotty noses and scratchy voices last week. So of course now I have a dry throat and runny nose (I had these symptoms before boozehaggery last night).
Booooooooooo baby germs!

Yes baby germs are lethal. I swear if a sick baby so much as looks at me I get sick instantly. It's horrible. I'm actually wondering if I'm getting sick and that's why I have this awful headache or if it's just my morning allergies combined with the heater that's on through the night.
'crazy' doesn't even begin to describe it. 'epic' is a start.

I'm extremely suspicious of sick babies now. One gave me whooping cough! That sure is a horrible disease.. It was crazy.
Codeine, Xanax, valium, and alcohol are a poor substitute for Darvocet.

I love/miss codeine. Valium, eh. Xanax, I think I had one once, eh. Alcohol, well, alcohol never fails me, I fail alcohol.
Codeine would definitely be nice right now though.
My fucking back is killing me. I got really drunk Saturday night, which means I probably came home and just flopped onto the bed. If I sleep on my stomach for more than an hour or so, my back is wrecked for like a week. And I have almost a month until my next chiropractor visit!
But the worst part is that I got so loaded that I passed out. Passed out = no saturday-night-sexy-time for me. Curse you, demon alcohol!

Codeine + Xanax + Valium + alcohol is an effective unconsciousing agent. Unfortunately,
- It does not count as actual sleep.
- It is completely ineffective against pain.

How Long Do the Symptoms Last?
It is difficult to predict how long a person might experience Darvocet withdrawal. Often, people cannot tolerate the withdrawal symptoms and begin taking the medication again, making it impossible to know how long the symptoms would have lasted. Several factors, such as the Darvocet dosage, how long you have been taking the medication, and other individual factors, may affect the durations of withdrawal symptoms.It is expected that withdrawal symptoms will last longer (but will be less severe) for people who do not clear Darvocet from the body as quickly as normal, such as people with liver or kidney disease or the elderly. Similarly, withdrawal symptoms probably have a shorter duration (but are more intense) for healthy, young people.
Limiting Withdrawal From Darvocet
Withdrawal from Darvocet can be extremely unpleasant. It can be so uncomfortable that people start taking the drug again in order to relieve withdrawal symptoms. In order to limit withdrawal, you should not stop taking Darvocet "cold turkey." Your healthcare provider can slowly decrease your dose at a rate that helps minimize withdrawal symptoms (most healthcare providers will be more than willing to help you stop taking Darvocet). I have a headache that won't go away
I took one of my mom's hardcore pain medications but it didn't even take the pain away.
My knees have been killing me from the cold and rain.
And my TMJ(temporomandibular joint disorder) has been acting up.
A combination of TMJ and sinus issues is what's been killing my head.
Anyone have a sledge hammer I can borrow?
