I can't see. I have these two small frosted glass windows that emit the smallest amount of light. Besides; it's getting dark here, so the chances of seeing anything would be minimal.

It felt like minus 40C for a good week now. We had about 3 inches of snow sunday night, and it is melting... I hate going to the school in the freezing weather, esp for night classes. And walking through that parking lot of what would be my icy death...

anyway, we've got a veritable heat wave goin' on today with temps at 35 degrees. the snow is blowing all over the place, basically slushing up the roads and stuff. nothing new.
I'm reduced to wearing a neon orange puffy down coat that is 2 sizes too big for me just to stay warm. My other "conventional" nicer coats do NOT shield me from the bitter bitter cold that is Cda.
I wanted to take the bus home last week when it felt like minus 40 out, but my friend was like, "Rita, we're Canadian!"

around xmas it was really cold (for Houston) and then shortly after it got WARM.. like fucking, almost hot, seriously. it was strange as hell. then it got really cold again and the last week or so has been just perfect.
