+A Question+
Hi Everyone,
First post here and I need your help...
I'm an editor and I'm looking to get in touch with Mr. Palahniuk about maybe getting a story for my yearly anthologies. Can anyone advise me on the best way to go about contacting and querying for a story?
All help is greatly appreciated. I'm a huge fan of Mr. Palahniuk's work, so it'd mean a great deal to me to be able to publish a new story in one of my books.
Thanks much in advance!

There are no pacts between lions and men.
don't call us, we'll call you
Thanks for the recommendations.
We're a small publishing company, but we aim high. We've also been lucky many times and have been able to work with some of our favorite authors and artists over the last 4 years publishing anthologies.
But, many authors and artists are not the easiest people to get into first contact with. Sometimes for good reason, I'm sure.
So, thanks for the suggestions. It's much appreciated!
Does Mr. Palahniuk ever come on the forums?
Cavender,
Hey, welcome to the cult !
Chuck hasn't spent any serious time here since 2002. His only post since that time was at the first of the year regarding his goals and a direction he'd like to see the workshop take this year. So i don't think he'll be noticing this thread, sorry. There is hope, though..
The going advice hasn't changed since October 3, 2004:
If you have a real, formal request for Chuck to do an appearance, or something, contact Chuck's publicist, Emily Montjoy, at Randomhouse. This is a huge publisher in New York City. I'm sure you'll find her contact info relatively easy to locate if you just do the legwork.
Anyway, good luck and thanks for stopping by.

Thanks Kabol. I appreciate the lead...I'm sure I can do the appropriate legwork on this. Appreciate the info and your initiative to look that up for me!

Your best bet would be to contact his editor through whichever place is publishing his books and asking. You could wait till he has one of the fan mail windows open again and everyone can write directly to him but i think that would be more for fan mail than business. In any event, I bet it's gonna cost a lotta cake if you do. Good luck.
