A book, a drink and an outfit: a new concept for picture threads!
I still refuse to believe that you are older than me. You are just so tiny and cute that its impossible.
"I'm glad I live in the GPS era. In a different century, I would've set off to visit the other side of the village and wandered off into the mountains and been eaten by a carnivorous plant. Or discovered the Americas."

Haha, thanks. I'm only tiny upwards, not outwards.

Tea in a coffee mug, Pragmatics course book, black dress. Senior student, first day.
Wet hair, oversized sweater cause I'm very cold, and Dutch beer. And Invisible Monsters.

'Tis a fine thread idea there, English.
I'm surprised that you're drinking Grolsch! Not into Heineken?
I like Heineken too, but this one has a funnier cap.
Eww heinie. I prefer grolsch. I can never finish the ass of a Heineken and if I do it ends up ruining the whole beer for me.
cute pics by the way
Weird for me to know you guys drink that. It's like my beer, because it's from my region.
Lover of red wine, Salvador Dali and surrealism.

I drink all the beers, I'd declare world peace if drinking beer had anything to do with it.
Oh and melting eyes.
Things I like:
Oversized sweaters.
Invisible Monsters.
Hawt girls.
Dali!
Bottles with funny caps.

oversized book, oversized mug of hot chocolate, oversized sweater in my freezing apartment. a triumphant return to the book/drink/outfit thread!
Jaz, plz share yer wine and yer dali.
Are the scissors broken in your house, son?
That mug is adorable!
I don't have wine or dali!
It's an optical illusion! The book, mug, sweater, everything are all regular sized. She's just really teeny tiny!
WHY DID I TYPE JAZ??? because this was right after the Day of the Dead picture and I was probably still thinking about it.
This does not exempt Irina from sharing!
Are the scissors broken in your house, son?
Share more Dali? I'll see what I can do. I used to have two different editions of his diary, but I lent one to a friend and haven't got it back. Hate it when that happens.
The book

hot tea and the outfit

Irina the red-nosed reader!

This signature does not quote anything. Evar.
That's pretty creepy-looking.

Don't have an outfit but here's the current book I'm reading, a cup of pumpkin spice coffee, and my friend's cat.
"For most of this century, scientists have worshiped the hardware of the brain and the software of the mind; the messy powers of the heart were left to the poets."
That book is great. It made me want to get into psychology.
Manson was a master at controlling people.
Also - why don't you post in the book club area?

I like your red kitchen.

I'm really stoked about it, I've seen the film and thought it was pretty interesting so I decided to give the book a try. Have you ever heard Manson's music?...It's...well it's interesting lol And I just posted
"For most of this century, scientists have worshiped the hardware of the brain and the software of the mind; the messy powers of the heart were left to the poets."
I've heard his music. I got obsessed with researching everything about him after reading that book (same thing happened to me when I read Columbine).
His music feels fake to me though.

Nice. What is the book/drink though?
Thing is, Bugliosi made up a hell of a lot of HS's facts, re motive and so forth. That Charlie is a master manipulator is undeniable, though.
As far as his music, remember, it's 1967 or whatever, Chuck's just out of prison/institutions for what effectively was half of his life thus far. He was no hippy but of the previous generation. His anti-establishment folky songs were him combining what he knew from his youth plus jail music reworked into something that would hopefully appeal to the cute young hippy girls of the day.
This is why we can't have nice things.
lol manson music
My sister is now singing me that garbage dump song over the phone.

The 80's are on the History Channel. This saddens me on so many levels.
This is why we can't have nice things.
With all those reality shows, the present is on the History Channel too. And last time I decided to watch it, they were just showing the same Nostradamus thing over and over again for like 10 hours. Which is kind of, sort of, about the future.
The History Channel don't give a fuck.
Monkey Beer!
Cute hairband, Pepper.
That's the outfit part! It is my new favorite. You can't tell in the pic, but it is black with tiny white polka dots.
I like that book a lot, Pepper.

I really like it too, the things it makes you imagine and envision are wondrous. I haven't finished it though, I had to set it aside because I had distractions that prevented me from giving it proper thought. I think I will finish it this month perhaps.
Oh man I love this thread. I am glad you bumped it back.
As your attorney, my advise to you is to start drinking heavily(er).-Tuffy
Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

“if you want to be a bird,” you said once, “with colorful plumage and buoyant trills, you must also be ready for hollow bones."
Awwwwww! Are those part of her Halloween costume?

Get onto it woman!
