1st Anniversary
I just realized I've been a cultie one year today.
The first six months I was a member, I never really posted anything. My current posts per day rate is so close to 1 I feel like staying on here till I get it. Perhaps this belongs in pointless announcements. Anyone else ever posted to get their rate up? I don't know if I should feel pathetic about it.

I usually do like 2-3 a day since when I'm on.

Happy Anniversary man!

Why thank you! For some reason, in my head I saw '356' as the number of days in a year, and upon reaching that I was wondering why I was at .97 posts per day. Duh, 365. I have like 8 left.

Good luck with that. You're close now...
(And I'm just giving you an excuse to post in here again
)
I'm there. Told myself I'd abstain from this thread until I hit 1.0 because it started to feel like cheating, I wanted none of my posts to be random for the sake of posting. But yeah, I feel accomplished.
Hmmm...anyone got anything interesting to post that's totally off subject, since the objective of the thread had been reached. Or any weird stories about posting on the cult work as well.

This one time, um, I fell asleep in a hammock, and then I rolled out of it, and hit the porch, and it hurt a lot. True story.
There is hope, but not for us.
My New Years resolution was to give the Cult a go and I used to post twice a day until around March I realised in some strange way I was accepted.
Happy Anniversary Giggan.
Jane S- Ouch. We have lots of trees in Ireland but no hammocks, they look tricky.
Really, no hammocks? I bet you could get one off of eBay or somewhere. They are so comfy.
*Note to Ashley, get Derek a hammock for his birthday or Christmas.

Oooh I love hammocks, but sheesh after a few drinks they are tricky to get out of, have a matress underneath I suggest.
Hammocks are really a double-edged sword. They're comfortable enough to fall asleep in, yet unstable enough to throw you right out once you're asleep.

Honestly Ive never seen a hammock in Ireland. I could imagine falling asleep in one and a pesky little kid throwing me out of it. Beds, floors and couches are safer me thinks.

thats honestly one of the craziest things i have ever heard in my life. i just kind of assumed that everywhere that had trees had hammocks. crazy.
there's lots of hammocks over here, you should try one on your visit. exceot, a hammock in th city in the winter is probably not all that relaxing. maybe someone has a skychair you an sit in whil listening to horrible american pop music and eating a big mac. that'd kind of be the same.

That's where you went wrong. Assuming Ireland has trees. tsk tsk.

Big Mac's a Big Mac, but they call it 'Le Big Mac'.
