I haven't watched one of these all the way through yet! They're the definition of excrutiating.
He's made some kind of gnome doll or something here.

should we leave a link to this thread as a reply so he knows we're talking about him?
should we leave a link to this thread as a reply so he knows we're talking about him?
Man, I'm not sure he'd take this thread, overall, as a vote of confidence and support. "Dax gets angry at Chuck Palahniuk Cult" would be a hell of a funny next video blog, though, so long as it doesn't end in self-harm.
VP - Workshop Dog
I don't think he's mature enough to engage in self-mutilation -- that suggest he's able to develop some kind of coping strategy to deal with his problems.
What I think is happening here is that Bernice has a skewed view of reality and is incapable of relating to people in any kind of normal way, and is making all these videos because he thinks it's cool and people will love him for it.
And oh yeah, post a link to this thread. By all means. It's too quiet around here.
i dare anyone to top this!
so long as it doesn't end in self-harm.
when Spike first posted this and I hadn't seen any of it yet, I worried that this ended that way.
poor kid.
This kid thought a "pee fight" would be a good idea, and something that would make his friend just laugh and just bond with him. I'm feeling kind of terrible about this, but I'm still laughing so hard my kidneys hurt.

After watching a few, I realized that he is weird, but he makes me laugh. I kind of like him now.

i tried posting a link but it kept asking me to verify my e mail address and after i went through that hoop 8 times i gave up
Does he have no friends? Why so excited about Jacob?

Brentinlouis Wrote: What was that rule about being intentionally annoying?
Nate, please don't involve us on you tube.
I find it odd that he filmed himself and jacob studying.
leehi please stop
After watching him with his friend jacob, I am again creeped out.
I just feel bad for him, you know? I see now where VP was coming from.
Don't link us on youtube. He'll totally make a blog about us, and that would be weird/bad.

I'm basing it on the performance of "jacob"
yeah i can see him being a little stiff and nervous at the situation but that was just too stiff of an act!
Humm, I bought it.
FYI, My new avatar is me halloween in 2005 being a biker. I was drinking a shot of food colored water for the picture. lame.

Brentinlouis Wrote: What was that rule about being intentionally annoying?
the walls gonna fall down and the entire "cast" will break out in song and dance w/ lots of lights and fantastic costumes, like in jackass 2.

Nah.

I don't follow you here. I think Jacob's really just being himself. He knows Bernice is recording the session for his journal, but he isn't really connecting that with a strongly felt sense of having an audience. Most kids his age are so sensitive about self-image, that jacob would never play the subdued 'straight man' role to the letter like that if he had any sense of a large, critical audience--especially an audience that thinks his friend is a spaz. He would feel compelled to distance himself by hurling on some abuse or storming out or something--especially if the whole thing were completely staged.
I love the way he calmly says, "Why did you pee on me yesterday?"
Anyway, I like these kids, regardless of whether any of it is an act. But it does make me kind of glad that home computers were in their Commadore-64 infancy when I was a teenage spaz.

Somewhere, I'm on VHS, in a chef's hat made of foam rubber, getting a fake hand made of clay chopped off the end of my arm by a friend with an imitation Samuri sword. The sword is made of real steel, though unpolished, hand-welded for him by his dad. We're doing all this in bad imiation of an old Gensu Knives commercial. Shit like that. That's what I'm talkin' bout.

You hate this that much Morey?

Brentinlouis Wrote: What was that rule about being intentionally annoying?
We have fake Asian slanteyes done with mascara. You could still do that in 1980.
