I just used paint because I didn't have any other editor at the moment, I had to delete photoshop.
And instead of trying to view them, just download them, it's alot faster.

The Windows port of [URL=http://www2.arnes.si/~sopjsimo/gimp/stable.html]GIMP[/URL] roxors! See also the animation plugin. It's free and open source with loads of user-created plugins and stuff.
This is a really good idea.
Right now on my laptop I got a picture of my daughter with some guy in an Easter Bunny costume at the neighborhood Easter egg hunt, because I was showing her the pictures one day and she wanted me to make it the bg so I did. On the home PC I got a background from Myst IV: Revelations website with a picture of Atrus and a young Yeesha, I like it 'cause it's kind of like me and my daughter. Often, I just have the default bg, lamo. I've just got the default when I boot into Mandrake Linux, but there's got to be some cool stuff if I check it out. I usually don't bother customizing because I'm an upgrade junky and would have to do it all over again in a week or two anyway.
This is a really good idea.
