What games are you playing right now?
Blue was the way to go

That's the one I had! That and Silver. Gold and Silver was awesome because once you got the 8 badges and beat the Elite 4 of Johto, you go back to Kanto (where Red and Blue took place), get those badges again (if you remember Blue, the last gym was led by the Team Rocket leader mob boss Giovanni, so since he's now in jail the gym leader is now your old rival from Red and Blue), then once you get ALL SIXTEEN badges, you go into the mountains and fight the main character from Red and Blue as the final boss.
Suffice to say, this was a mindfuck as a kid. And since he was a silent RPG protagonist, the only thing he says before you fight is ".........." Which was cool, but was kind of creepy. I remember he had all three fully evolved starter Pokemon, and a level 80 Pikachu. And others but I don't remember.
Ah memories.
Damn, I kinda wanna play silver again, again.
You just fucked my brain.

Emerald or GTFO.

This guy is hilarious!
He's smart too.
I tried playing Super Mario Bros. the other day. I suck. But it was cool that the old Super Nintendo worked.
Trying to catch a Mewtwo at full health with a normal pokeball doesn't have nearly as high a miss rate as when you leave me.
Are you a Pokemon? Cause I wanna peek at chu.
Pokemon pickup.
Oh yeah. Forgot to mention I beat Infamous 2 as good Cole.
I may go back to Infamous 1 and beat it as evil Cole someday. Then I'll beat Infamous 2 that way. (Though I watched the evil ending of Infamous 2 on YouTube already)
Heh, I just beat inFamous 2 today as well.
Good Cole, obviously. Almost teared up...

Too bad the endings are so vastly different or they could make a third.
As for the good ending, I will say this: There was a bolt of lightning...
I downloaded a SNES emulator on my phone so i play that here and there. Yoshi's Island, Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Super Castlevania VI, and Final Fantasy III. That's all so far. I like Yoshi's Island the best though.
Those are fantastic games. Final Fantasy 3 (or 6 as it is known in Japan) is deeply moving and has an engrossing story with one of the best villains of all time. The side stories of the 16 playable characters are often more moving than the actual main story.
There is only one fault with it. It is grindy. It is an RPG where you have to grind your characters up. If you can get past that (which might be difficult if you are playing on a phone), you're golden. Though there is a way to cheat this problem if you're interested. Teach every character the spells Vanish and Doom. Cast Doom on any enemy that is vanished and it's instant death. This however sucks the fun out of the game.
I played the first 10 FFs all with strategy guides because I hate missing things that add to the experience.
I've only ever played all of 7 and part of 8 and i quit 8 because it was so boring. I played 7 for so long that the timer read 99:99.
8 was my least favorite. 9 was the one I played first and I love it. X is my favorite beyond favorites.
Yeah. 8 was weak. Very very weak. So much so I'm not even sure which of the "good" FFs (1-10) is my least favorite anymore. 8 was the last one I played but which is worse? Minimal story of 3 or bad story of 8. '(I should explain that I mean Japanese 3, not the American 3 that you are playing, which is Japanese 6. Confusing, huh?)
6, 7, 9, and 10 are the only FFs that made me FEEL something other than "that's really cool" or "that was fun."
I even knew the twist in 7 before it was going to happen (its been out for more than 10 years. Everyone knows it by now) and it STILL made me emotional.
9 is my favorite because of the whole experience. The retro 4 person party battle system. The secrets to collect. And the emotion it makes you feel is not just from one gut wrenching scene. It's the whole story. Every character in the game (even the main bad guy) fears death in one way or another. Oh man I have to play it again.
Just beat Singularity. Really solid, underrated game.

I just bought Sound Shapes on the PS3 (and the Vita as, if you buy one you get the other automatically). I'm really glad I did. It is a fun and unique platformer where you collect circular items to add to the music of the level. And by the end of each level, you've created an awesome song.
Did I mention that the songs in the campaign are from REAL music artists like Beck and Deadmau5 (pronounced dead mouse)?
And it has a level/song creator so you can be a musician too.
Totally worth 15 bucks.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is super boring.

Finally finished playing Mass Effect 3 yesterday. The ending was okay, but could've been better.
I'm replaying RE5 and started Resonance of Fate which is very good RPG with a kickass battle system.

Rented Ghost Recon: Future Soldier from Redbox and really dug it.

Call of Duty: World at War

I've got a couple days so I've been playing a bunch of black ops, and I also tried out the CS:GO demo. I might buy it.

I restarted the campaign to Black Ops last week.
I'm so ready for Black Ops II.
The new approach to Create-A-Class sounds rad.

I don't think I actually ever played to black ops campaign. I did get CS:GO, so I've been having fun with that. What's new with the create a class in Black Ops 2?

The new system, dubbed 'Pick 10,' allows players to select any combination of weapons, items, and perks for their loadout on a simple grid. Each selection is worth a single point, with a maximum of ten points allotted per loadout. But you can do anything you want with this system and you'll never be forced to bring something you don't care for. Want a second flashbang instead of a sidearm? That's cool. Spend your points the way you want to.
Aside from perks, Black Ops 2 offers a new system called Wildcards. Wildcards allow players to change their loadout defaults in certain ways. For example, you can select the wildcard to allow for two lethal grenades to be carried into battle. But selecting this wildcard uses a point and then adding a second lethal will use a point. Another wildcard – called "Gunfighter" – allows players to equip three attachments on their primary weapon. The "Perk Greed" wildcard can be used to take a second Perk from the selected three perk groups. It's a risk/reward system. It's like you're getting an advantage, but you have to pay for it. Use more points to dig deeper and get the items/abilities you want, but you'll end up bringing less equipment to the party.

finished infamous 1 and 2 back to back. those are great games and 2 was more enjoyable.
i'm currently playing the devil may cry collection. shit's hard yo and i'm only fighting the first boss.
Been playing CS:GO for about a week now and I think I'm actually getting worse. My k/d is like .79, which if I had that in Black Ops I'd be completely ashamed of myself. Sticking with it though.

i'm currently playing the devil may cry collection. shit's hard yo and i'm only fighting the first boss.
I like your taste. I didn't find much fault in Infamous 1 though. I even missed the animation from 1 that occurs after you beat a side mission showing your map getting "cleaner". I didn't really feel like my side missions were accomplishing anything in 2.
I'm gonna pick up God of War Saga soon. I've only ever played and beat the first one. Right now though, I got Batman Arkham City GOTY Edition in the mail today. Came with a free digital download of the movie version of Batman Year One.
I've never played the second Devil May Cry. Heard it was horrible. Bland enemies. And a short campaign "doubled" by playing the game again as another character.
DMC3 is where it's at. Awesome weapons. Great story. Tough as nails. And Jester. I love the character Jester. I took so much inspiration from him for my persona on Halloween when I dressed up like an evil Jester. Such a fun voice to imitate.
i'm gonna get the arkham city goty edition eventually.
about the infamous side missions, i mainly took them on to rank up and get XP points / karma to upgrade my weapons.
ya, looking forward to completing the devil may cry stuff, i even got the 4th in preparation, which is pretty cheap now.
anyway, i finished all 5 god of war games, 3 is by far the best. don't expect too much in way of graphics for the psp ports but the story is your typical gow fare so if you like the other three, these two should be good for you too.
How is Arkham City compared to the first one?
This is why we can't have nice things.
So far, honestly they are alike in most ways. Just on a grander scale (city instead of island). The biggest differences are the inclusion of side missions, more "big name villains" than last time, and the ability to play as Catwoman in certain parts. A couple new gadgets, but nothing game changing. It has a gripping story so if you liked the first game, you'll really like this. If you didn't like the first game, there's still a chance you'll like this one.
In less than 24 hours I'll be playing Borderlands 2.

Minecraft. Xbox version. Its crack
As your attorney, my advise to you is to start drinking heavily(er).-Tuffy
I'm now hunting one of my favorite Batman villians in Arkham City.
The Riddler side mission is annoying though. In Asylum, all you did was collect his crap. Now, in City he's kidnapped some cops too. I rescued one but Riddler says I can't rescue the rest until I collect more of his crap like in the last game! Shit! I know it's the point, but I just wanna punch that guy in the face.
Oh God! Arkham City is amazing! I don't know what's so different about it.
Every Batman villain you could think of is in here!
The Mr Freeze fight was brilliant! He's hunting you in his lab and his suit has a force field. So you have to get the drop on him a bunch of times. The trick is, you can't get him the same way twice! Once you sneak behind him, he doesn't fall for that anymore. Once you electrify the water he steps in, he avoids it. So fun!
Ra's Al Ghul was an ok boss fight too. His ninjas help him out and he turns into a giant sand version of himself at one point.
So good! I kind of lost track of time this weekend because of it.
Been doing nothing but sitting on my ass playing Borderlands 2 since Tuesday.
The Good:
-Guns really do look and feel different from each other this time around.
-Game world is huge with a lot of different environments.
-Tons of enemy variety.
-The writing and story is a hell of a lot better than the last game.
-Challenging from the get go, throwing you in a boss fight less than 5 minutes into the game.
-Basically everything that made the first game good is improved upon.
The Bad:
-Level design in some places is kind of confusing.
-The 'Badass' system doesn't seem to amount to much and it seems like you have to play for a long ass time before you really start to feel the effects of the bonus stats. I'm on Badass Rank 2091 and only 1 of my bonus stats is over 4%.
-They changed how elemental weapons work. Bit more complicated but manageable mostly.
-Framerate on the PS3 takes a hit when things get too hectic.
-It's an Unreal game, so there's tons of late-textures.
The Ugly:
-I have nobody to play with
-I'm not exaggerating when I've said I've done nothing but play this game since Tuesday. I am disgusted and ashamed of myself.

I've been thinking about picking that up, but I refuse to pay 60 bucks for a game.
Are you playing on xbox, justin?
This is why we can't have nice things.
Nope, PS3.
I don't usually get games at full price but for this one I did. It's worth it in my opinion, especially if you liked the first one. Meaty campaign, tons of sidequests, New Game+, and the promise of some expansion sized DLC down the road.

Played Super Smash Bros 'til six in the morning at some guy's place. Undefeated!
Si vis pacem, para bellum
O well nvm then.
I was gonna pick it up so we could play but you're on an inferior system, so...
This is why we can't have nice things.
Metal Gear Solid 4 can't even fit on the 360. Inferior, I think not.
I don't like paying full price for games either so I'm waiting for black ops 2 to come out til I get mw3. However cs:go has been well worth the 15. I've been playing that nonstop and am finally getting my kd respectable.

Sorry, G, but I make the xbox superior by owning it.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Nintendo, bitches.
Si vis pacem, para bellum
I was a loyal Nintendo fan, but Nintendo has forsaken me when they came out with the Wii. With CP on my left side, I don't have the dexterity in my left hand to use the nunchaku controller.

I was feeling nostalgic the other day and I tried looking for my old Pokemon cartridge. Couldn't find it, but just had this hankering to play Pokemon again. So I looked up some videos online. It's formulaic and tedious as hell! Glad I didn't pay money to relive my childhood.
