What games are you playing right now?
Morrowind: GOTY edition.
got a hold of an old xbox and will be splitting my time between that, Jet Set Radio Future, Deus Ex: Invisible War, and my 360 until L4D2 and MW2 comes out.
you?
"It is true, that which I have revealed to you; there is no God, no universe, no human race, no earthly life, no heaven, no hell. It is all a dream - a grotesque and foolish dream. Nothing exists but you. And you are but a thought - a vagrant thought, a useless thought, a homeless thought, wandering forlorn among the empty eternities."
*PGR4
*Fallout 3
*Pokemans...
I'm going through all the Final Fantasys to get ready for Dissidia.
Allergy Warning: This post might contain the word nuts or in the case of the "Dress Down Thread" a picture of my nuts.
Still Team Fortress 2, I'm a loyal bastard (now with THREE NEW HATS!)
Also finished BioShock recently.
"To fail to embrace my dreams now would be a disgrace so great that sin itself would not be able to find a name for it." - Werner Herzog
I'm about an hour into Shadow Complex for the 360. For a downloadable arcade game it's pretty great, especially if you dig the DS Castlevania/Metroid-type stuff, although the 2d/3d perspective it sometimes throws at you can be a little distracting.
Oh, and the second part of Tales of Monkey Island drops tomorrow. If anyone can make me drop everything for a few hours, it's Guybrush Threepwood.
As if my free time wasn't already sparse. Gah, I should be writing... *Goes back to play more Shadow Complex*

I miss playing games. did MGS4 and RE5 suck or something. I don't see much talk about them anymore.
I miss playing games. did MGS4 and RE5 suck or something. I don't see much talk about them anymore.
I heard RE5 sucked. if you didn't absolutely love RE4 then you probably wouldn't like it.
MGS4 is like 90% cutscenes now.
the last one alone supposedly last 98 minutes.

I didnt play the actual game, but did download the demo before selling my 360, and RE5 was horrible. They insisted on giving you a computer controlled sidekick who would blow your ammo and healing herbs, and you had to constantly babysit.
Would have been a much better time solo.
I've been playing Braid on my Mac. GREAT sidescrolling puzzle/platformer with a really well written story.

Gamecube: Resident Evil 0, Call of Duty, and Mortal Kombat
Facebook: Country Story, Restaraunt City, Pet Society
OMGPOP: Letterblox
Armorgames: Red Removal, Crazy Go Nuts
DS: Brain Age, Pokemon, Animal Crossing
PC: World of Warcraft, Qbert, Dig Dug
Other: Crosswords, Sudoku, Tai Pei, Mah Jong, Poker, Risk, Scrabble
Tetris.. on facebook, tetrisfriends.com, and xbox
Go Fish and lots of Yahtzee.
Get the sugar. Get the sugar. Get the sugar.
Right now its back and forth between Fall Out 3, Harvest Moon, Sudoku, and Farm Town on crackbook.
B
haven't actually played for a while but I do Resistance 2 & Mirrors Edge on PS3 when there's nothing else to do (and there always is).
held within the visualization, the continuous re-run
I am back to torturing myself with the Halo 3 campaign, getting ready for ODST next month.
Some Call of Duty World at War and Team Fortress 2 in between.
I might replay Killzone 2 as well.
So...We are still going to die. Right?
Trine (PC) - a really, really awesome puzzle platformer, with beautiful graphics. It's on sale on Steam right now, and you should buy it.

The Witcher (PC) - An action-RPG. Not too far into it, and it has a few problems, but overall it's pretty fun.
Tonight, I will be adding Shadow Complex to the list.
my computer isn't exactly built for gaming. well it kind of is but i need a better graphics card. anyway, all i play on it is world of warcraft and this free mmorpg called mabinogi. i want to try aion because it looks awesome but like i said, i need a better graphics card. also i have some emulators with tons of old games on them. i play that sometimes.
, Dig Dug
we used to have Dig Dug for our old timey computer we had at school. The game came on a floppy disk!
But you could go immediately up that first shaft to the top and while your guy was facing right shoot straight up in the air and it would fry the game, to where the character was like 6 spots over from where it would dig the tunnels and you could walk through the ground and whatnot.
I miss playing games. did MGS4 and RE5 suck or something. I don't see much talk about them anymore.
MGS4 was pretty excellent. Anyone that complains about cutscenes doesn't count as an MSG fan.
And I really enjoy playing RE5, but I mostly play online, so there's no issue with bad AI
You blink when you breathe and you breathe when you lie
You blink when you lie
Also, games I've been playing recently:
Gears of War 2
1 vs. 100
Left 4 Dead
World of Warcraft
Magic: The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers
Pokemon Trading Card Game (for gameboy)
Fallout 3
Mafia Wars
Simpsons Hit & Run

That's last game I played, I thought it was pretty good, the story is alright, but it doesn't really make any sense. I've read a few interviews with the guy who designed (boy is he an arrogant prick) and it seems like the only person it would make sense to is him.

That looks pretty good, I might get it sometime. Have you ever played Ico or Shadow Of The Colossus? They look fairly similar, but I'm not sure if they're available on PC (I played them on PS2).
!
Trine is nothing like Ico or Shadow Of The Colossus. It's a pure puzzle platformer. You play as 3 characters and switch between them. A wizard, thief and knight. Each can do different things. For instance, the wizard can conjure items that you draw with your mouse. The thief has a grappling hook and bow. The knight has a sword and shield.
Probably makes more sense if you see it.
MGS4 is one of the best games on the PS3.
But I'm playing Star Ocean 4 on the 360.
Spartan art is the real made hysterical.
I'm so gonna get a PS3 now that the slim is coming out and is only $299 as opposed to the previous $599. Although I might want backwards compatibility. What am I saying? I have a PS2, though it might have been nice to sell it.
I saw the review of Trine a few weeks ago and it said that the biggest drawback is that there is only about 15 levels (I think, it might have been 10 or something. I don't remember) and then that's it. But it did get a great review other than that.

Trine (PC) - a really, really awesome puzzle platformer,
Sold, sir! Apparently it came out on PSN today too. I'm not home right now but first thing tomorrow I'm buying this for sure.
-Chris Lewis Carter-
Just started playing Prototype for 360 today. Seems pretty cool.
Fuck Steam, I can't pirate anything.

There are 15 levels. All together, probably 10-12 hours of play just to get through it. Many more if you are the type of person who likes to find all of the secrets. It also sounds like they intend to release additional maps. Really though, for a game that is really good, and less than $30 I think 10-12 hours is a good value.

If you are going to get it for PSN, I would suggest you wait till you can see some reviews of it on the platform. I really don't know how you would play the wizard using analog sticks, and many of the people who have played the PC version with a controller seemed to say it was more difficult.
Fuck Steam, I can't pirate anything.
Steam has such great sales, on such a regular basis, there really is no reason for you to pirate anything. Especially a games like Trine that are made by small, indie developers.
Just bought Shadow Complex tonight. So far, it's great. It really makes me wonder why no one is making games like this anymore. The old-school metroidvania gameplay with modern graphics really makes for a good game.
negative bank account pirate, argghhh.
I play bubble shooter! n_n
It's my mindless I'm-just-listening-to-music-and-relaxing game.
EDIT_
I have Neverwinter Nights, but I'm stuck and it's frustrating.
og eg kan vel ikkje berre vere ingen stad heller -
and I can't just be nowhere either
Just started playing Prototype for 360 today. Seems pretty cool.
cool game until you finish it, then there's nothing to do in the city. It gets boring.
So...We are still going to die. Right?
I got a copy of Clue for this thing for like 5 bucks that is pretty damn fun to play. It's got little CGI murders in it and everything.

So...We are still going to die. Right?
Arkham Asylum
believe the hype
Actually I don't sit behind a PC, I sit infront of a PC, and if I'm honest I sit at a desk which happens to have a PC on it, not behind or infront of a desk, at a desk.
I'm playing Oblivion on my bro's X-box 360. Never played any of the other Elder Scrolls though. How's Morrowind?
Also, Runescape. Weirdly addicting for me.
Arkham Asylum

I just went and read a few reviews of this, sounds pretty good. I might see if I can rent it from Blockbuster or something, can't risk buying it in case my computer can't handle it.
!
Wolfenstein.
Spartan art is the real made hysterical.
Guild Wars, mind you it's been a while since I logged in and played it. I keep hearing stuff about GW2....dunno when they're actually going to release it though. I've stopped playing recently since I got sucked in to myspazz and started playing *gulps* Mobsters. They've gone overboard lately with game apps like Dog Wars, Troll Wars and Fashion Wars. The Vampires apps they have, Bloodlines and Vampires aren't too bad. But I prefer RPGS over those apps any day. I'd do WoW but don't you have to pay to play online? Any suggestions for other stellar PC games?
I was going to buy Wolfenstein for my brother, but I heard the multiplayer was awful, they tried to copy Enemy Territory and it just never worked out for them, shame too as I loved RTCW

I got completely addicted on PATAPON 2, and ECHOCROME
and I am waiting for DISSIDIA
Splitting my time between life, Silent Hill 4: The Room on the PS2, and Silent Hill: Homecoming on the 360. When the Crash Course DLC comes out for Left 4 Dead either tomorrow or the next day, I'll be playing that too whilst counting off the days until Fallout 3: GOTY Edition comes out in October.
Another game I'm playing is Look for a Job, which isn't all that fun.

F.E.A.R. - 2 and Killzone 2 on my ps3
I'm waiting for Halo ODST so i can bring my 360 out of hibernation.

I think this is now available on the ps3 network and it's only like £15.99, looks like its worth investing in.

If there is a PSN demo, try that first. I really don't know how you would play the wizard with a controller. On the PC you have to draw physical shapes with your mouse, I don't know if that would translate well to a console.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. Which will soon go into trade-in as its pure garbage compared to the first one.
Soon: Halo ODST.
So...We are still going to die. Right?
ive played wet this week. dont. its sick and sad what people pump out and pass as action titles these days. instead, play the new batman. seriously. no action game better on the market right now.

Soon: Halo ODST.
The only question is: is it worth the $60?
Well i got ODST. It's not crap but it's not a GOTY either. It's worth it if you are a fan. I do think it will eventually go down in price and be a better purchase.
So...We are still going to die. Right?
I hardly have any time anymore. When I do, it's Dissidia: Final Fantasy for me. It's a 3D fighting game (Kind of like Kingdom Hearts with the controls of Smash Bros). 20 good and bad guys from the first 10 numerical entries in the FF series.
It's an average fighter. But much more enjoyable if you know the characters.
