take photo's of the wallpaper, floor, bricks, photos on the wall, etc, then import them into the pak file so you can make the map an actual reflection of the place you are mapping. or download images of the posters you have on your wall and put them in the map, stuff like that. shit, this is making me want to go back to non-professional map design.
I like Gackt a lot...so I can't complain about past FF character designs.
However, Vaan is really not attractive, and his voice bothers me. I am alright with Balthier though

The N64 version was definitely one of my favourite games ever. It's too bad the Xbox remake completely sucked and removed large parts of the game.

Im playing the N64 version...I´ve heard that the Xbox version is more "bleeped"than this one, they took out words like "scat" or "shit", from the main story wich is pretty funny..because that words were included unbleeped on the multiplayes levels..at least thats what I´ve been told.
Whas that necesary? if the games is "M" rated and has warning about how "adult" it is Do they need to bleep it too? I think that you people on the states are taking the censorship one step too further. You can heard those dirty words on TV all the time! I love conker..but I think that its a PG 13 as much..even with the dirty words unbleeped
I would love to see more games like this one... the humor on it is wonderful... great acting... intelligent plot. cool gameplay a bit frustrating sometimes (in a "contra" style). I have tried other rare games on the N64 but none of those were as good as this. they are too "cute". I am not against cuteness on games but these ones (like banjoo series) are just too much.
I got my hands on grim fandango and monkey island 4, I have played only Monkey island 1... do I need to know something to start the 4rth one?
I've no idea why the extra bleeps were necessary. They removed a massive part of the war level too, not to mention the new multiplayer was nowhere near as fun as the original multiplayer. The remake sure did look pretty though.
As for the Monkey Island question, while some elements of the story continue from previous ones, and some of the same characters appear, you don't really need to play them in order or anything. Good call with Grim Fandango, too.

Dead Rising. I absolutely love it, so detailed, but it's damn frustrating when you first start out. It's so satisying to jump into a massive crowd of zombies with the chainsaw or a sword or something weirder like a handful of cd's ala Shaun of the Dead.

Having Finally beat GTA4, I picked up Ninja Gaiden 2 today. It doesn't have much going for it in the story department, but damn if it isn't fun. There are like a million moves, each weapon can be upgraded, lots of severed limbs and decapitations. In fact, the bulk of the time you feel like you're playing the House of Blue Leaves scene from Kill Bill.
It is however, in the tradition of Ninja Gaiden, difficult. I just made it to the 3rd boss (at least I hope it's the boss and not a mini-boss) and I really have no clue what I'm supposed to be doing.
After a long hiatus, GTA IV.
