Web Hosting question.. maybe???

Hey guys,

It's been a while since I've been around. Busy busy busy... mostly trying not to [I]die[/I], but cancer has backed off and I'm officially in remission, so let's get life going again, right?

In the meantime, been working hard on a CD project, kind of musically chronicles the last 6-7 months of my life. (But no, I'm not singing or whining or anything lame...) It's electronic music, no singer songwriter crap here.

[B]What I need to know[/B]:

I would like to host it somewhere as a zip file for download. I've done this before with one or two tracks, but this time I have a full length, 14 track project. It's [B]free[/B], so I'm not worried about trying to have some sort of commerce site, I just need some ideas as to where I can host this thing.

I've used workpad.com in the past for this kind of thing, but the load time is [I]ridiculously [/I]slow, as is the download time later. That was with one track here and there, too, and I can't imagine how long a CD would take to DL.

Or maybe I'm going about this all wrong, is there a better way to do it that I'm not thinking of?

I'm not printing more than a dozen actual hard copies of this album, mainly to give to family (who aren't computer savvy in the least and would never be able to DL something).

Does anyone here have any advice for this kind of thing? I'd like to be able to just say, [I][B]'Hey, click here and you can download the CD in a few minutes.'[/B][/I]

Oh, and you guys will be among the first to know when the link is ready, cause I'm not about to leave you all hanging. It's been too long, and I would like to be back in the fold, you know.
