gave up the old mac laptop and picked up a pc. i'm liking windows 7 so far, never really used vista so i can't compare.

one of the first things i downloaded when i was setting up is this application launcher called launchy.

i hate a cluttered desktop and by pressing alt+space, i can summon whatever program/file i want, keeping the screen as minimal as possible. you'll see the application as the black bar at the bottom of the screen.

neat little thing.
