So fucking gay. I'm only allowed to have one thing registered to my room, and since my computer is already hooked up, I have no way of running live in my room. I fucking hate IT here with their stupid fucking bandwidth limits and sticks up their asses.

Get a router and hook that up. Then hook your computer and XBOX into that. As far as the network is concerned, they should only see one device.

Yes sir! ^-^ I have put it down for a bit. I am now playing Gears of War 2 but will go back to Left 4 Dead. I'm hoping I can find someone to play co-op on all 4 campaigns on expert. My friend's disc keeps freezing and my other friends are never on these days.

I thought TF2 was cross-platform online. That's too bad. I know Shadowrun is. It's super fun. Definitely worth checking out.

In Valve's offices, team members regularly play cross-platform multiplayer games, but the studio's Doug Lombardi noted emphatically that such functionality will not appear in the final versions. He explained that it introduces more problems than it is worth, and if Valve ever decides to go that route it would be in a game designed for it from the start.

TF2 is not cross platform. the 360 version is very inferior to the PC version. We didn't get any of the DLC or the upgrades. I wish i had a gaming pc (but i bought a iMac, which sucks for gaming)

Yeah. The only thing I hate about team fortress is it's lack of variety in atmosphere. I haven't played it in awhile, but it seems like there's only one or two different maps.

true. But you have to admit the game is hilarious. I can't get pissed off while playing that game. Ever.

There are several game-standard maps, and a TON of user created maps, and a few new game types they've added recently (payload, payload race, arena). AND new taunts and stuff from the characters. It's so great to hear the scout yell "Eat it, Fatty!" after you bonk someone's head in with your bat.

AAAAAND, in a fantastic instance of an inside joke gone too far, the sniper can throw jars of urine at people now.

Yeah. That game is so much fun. That extra stuff sounds great. User created content is the ONLY reason I wish I could do the whole PC gaming thing. There's nothing like playing Elderscrolls as a wookie roaming the star wars universe.

I've mostly been playing Battlefield 1943, but the expansion pack for Gears of War 2 drops in about two weeks and that will make for something like six maps I have never played in Horde mode. Who is up for another trip to Level 50?

I've done level 50 a couple of times for the mappack achievements, so I'll definitely be giving it another go. Unfortunately, I'll be out of town when it's released, but not for too long.
