Our Colony

I was really into this a while back. Actually was doing the AI one, it was great, you would actually get phone calls at odd times of the day with clues.

I took the liberty of starting a colony. "The Cult" Password is 31847653 if you would like to join. we need 5 people!

If you check this out, the easy part is getting in. play

hmm, havent been on the consoles lately.
im having a hard time even getting the correct word right for the site, but i do know that its no longer than 8 letters.

not because of that, the game sounds awesome. and that was before i knew the password to get to the uhmaAs.

Perhaps it's because we now have 50 points (including the 10 bonus points). A team of five US members would have 50 points, so maybe that's the target amount before you can start. Still doesn't explain why you can't see it though.

i tried with both ff and ie. says we have 40 points colonists and 10 are bonus. maybe we need 50 colonists. but like riddlegimp said, doesnt explain why he can see the challenge while I (or if anyone else) cant...hmmmm

There's a slim chance that this is part of the game.

On the Xbox link that Parka provided there's a whole lot of talk about how it's mainly about teamwork.

Could it be that one of us is supplied with the image and is expected to share it with the others?

I know it's clutching at straws, but save for a glitch at my end where the game thinks we have five players instead of four, I'm at a loss.

To remedy this, we just need one more willing puzzle-gibbon....

i dont know shit about baseball. im working on the crossword. only thing that stuck out immediately were the brighter Ms and Ks and Ns. the word GAMEFIND, could be something like an anagram: defaming?

defamed allstar?....was frank thomas? (layer nicknamed "The Big Hurt" by broadcaster Ken Harrelson) born in may on the 27th (explains why he is on the calender for may)

I'm in the process of looking through the MASSES of shit on that xbox team site. It's going to be pretty tough to compete against a colony with 2600 members, but dammitt we shall try!

I'm not quite sure how it works yet, whether this is the latest in a long line of visual clues, or a self-contained puzzle.

inside the page source are nothing but crap and symbols and the words ducky which i hear are just a watermark adobe uses to say its formatted or whatever adobe products....

Well, I have absolutely no idea what that means, even if you are on the right lines!

This is the latest challeneg though, and it hasn't been solved as yet. I'm on the [URL=http://forum.teamxbox.com/showthread.php?t=339183&page=2&pp=15]new challenege[/URL] thread - and who should be looking at this thread at the same time but a certain "Parkaboy".

I'll see what I can dig up. Pretty interesting so far, but it does seem to imply that this image relates to previous ones in many ways.

Parka is posting - so I'm guessing he must be part of that group too (a mole or a traitor! )

I'm thinking he's going to be able to bring us up to speed about some of the previous clues and what's gone on up to now.

When it's solved you put th answer in the box and press the solve button. So far, nothing.

I love Bees was a similar alternate reality game for Halo 2. From what I have read on the boards I listed previously, the only connection to it is that Kristen girl worked on it as well. But the site seems to be the same site as before and doesn't appear to have anything to do with game.

And egg reminds me of eater eggs on a DVD. tell me more about this, I know shit about code and such.

The last puzzle was a picture with these little white dashes all over it. The dashes turned out to be a bar code that was assembled by an online tool, the code was a phone number, the phone numner gave you the code to type in :Reset Reality.

A couple of days went by with no new challenge, then this one came up.

The All Star Baseball Game and/or the White Sox seems important.

The word find is important. I've tried running a Caesar's Box decoder on it and some ROT13 iterations. Another guy was working under the idea that it was a vigere(sic?) cypher, but we don't know what the codeword to decrypt that would be, tried a bunch.

One main idea is that there is some correlation between baseball stats and decrypting the wordfind box, so far though, not much has been revealed of use.

Also "star" or Star Wars could be a clue as references to those are all over the pick. The mug is Darth Vader, the plush toy is Jabba's pet Salacious Crumb. The All "Star" game, the Spaceship and Battleship thing are from Starship Yamato anime...

I don't know, pretty much everyone is in circles.
