life's pretty straight without vidalia :You_Rock_
and i am what? My name?
So...We are still going to die. Right?
yeah. are you?
life's pretty straight without vidalia :You_Rock_
well, actually my current label in a diagnosis is: Schizoaffective Disorder is not quite the same as schizophrenic but close.
So...We are still going to die. Right?
whats the difference?

whats the difference?
Primarily the Affective part.
Schizophrenic is simply more detached.
Schizoaffective is basically a bi-polar that is also a schizophrenic without being that detached altought at times it might get as detached as a schizophrenic.
Also most schizophrenic suffer from unipolar depressions. (down down down)
Schizoaffectives suffer from bi-polar depressions. (up-down, up-down)
A schizophrenic is more likely to kill him/her self, because of being detached to the point of not really wanting any type of help.
A schizoaffective is more likely to fuck his/her relationships more since he/she changes moods often, very drastically in my case. Also is very needy of attention, friends, support, etc. (like you may have noticed...)
So...We are still going to die. Right?
i always fucked up chances and opportunities in purpose and i cannot control my intention, i want help so much and i reject it when it come. i feel a lot of anger inside me and get pissed off to the one who's help me, and i will loss my temper and yell. am i one of your kind (schizoaffectives)? is it treatable? am i pervert? am i just naughty? am i selfpity? yes? am i, or, i just get ims, like the version of female pms? I hate me.
The flag's nifty.
The flames on the text are a little basic, though.
I just scan in my drawings and play with them in PhotoShop. Layer the original image, play with the transparencies etc.
Nothing fancy but it's fun.

Nope, sorry I am not a labeling machine I am just a walking label with a percentage. Truth is you never know what you are until a long time afterwards. In my case many shrinks, hospitalizations, attempts, etc. I didn't take it seriously up until one year ago when I started my homicidal visualizations and ideations. Especially with the ones I loved the most. Specially my son. Another thing is I welcome now my label. I take it with me to sleep everyday, feel comfortable in it, I reference to it in my nick. Mainly because it gives me a place were no questions are asked beyond a point, where interest dies after a while, the label serves the purpose and is better than if I tried to be normal. Normal as in not seeing or hearing or thinking or doing any of the stuff that I do everyday that I have to report every week that I take a pill every day for. Or pretty much not being able to share these things without getting the usual: pity/weird/scared/curious combo. I just give a mild reference and that’s it, keep everything at bay for my own sake. See the problem with acting normal is you get used to the feeling of it. People not expecting for you to say something weird, people not checking up on you to see how you are. That of course gets fucked up after you do those weird things that make you weird under other people’s eyes. Right now every time I see my parents or my brother I get that question: How are you. Meaning: Are you going to get hospitalized anytime soon? Are going to try and do it with the pills again? Are you going to kill your son? (Is mostly my wife the one who asks) Are going to kill me?
So that’s it I am a product of everyone’s worries. I am a label. I am alone in a crowded life. I only get some kind of relief when I am with people who have similar a similar burden, so that I am not that alone. Then that person ends up killing himself or herself and I go back to step one: being alone.
Then again my vision of the world is shaped by the problems I face. Like an author said: There are those who can take a shit and those who have a problem with it.
So...We are still going to die. Right?

Yeah the flames is just a Gaussian Blur image with the Smudge Tool to make the lil' flames. Then i changed the color balance, upping the reds downing the yellows and that is about it. It doesn't take that long and is not very hard to do, but i prefer that than a filter.

Thanks!
This is the kind of stuff I used to do.
Another.
Haven't created much yet, but did hand colour this in an early Adobe Photo Delux version one day when I was bored. Not my drawing, but all the colour is mine.
Love the graphics you guys have done. They look awesome.
Blessed are those who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.

This one is even better. Love the colors and the shape... everything!
So...We are still going to die. Right?
Tuffy:
The first one was good. Very 80ish. Second one i didn't like as much, but is still ok.

Looks good. I personally can't do much with a pencil, not even coloring. I can only do stuff on photoshop but it's only with tutorials.
So...We are still going to die. Right?
Nah, didn't do it with a pencil, did it on the conputer with a mouse.

Thanks again.
That one was done using a gel pen, a metallic gel pen and a pencil crayon. Scanned it in, doubled it and flipped it.
I have sketchbooked filled with designs like that, although now they are mostly just black and red.
When I'm home, I'll find something created purely in PhotoShop.
Xi - That's really good for drawing on the comptuer! Reminds me a lot of Lain.
Do you have a special pad you plug into the computer or is it all freehand?
All freehand with a mouse. I didn't draw it, just coloured. Fred Gallager drew it.

awesome Xi, I use photodeluxe as well
Awesome little program for some things, so long as you don't want text in your image. First program I used after using Paint for so many years.
I found Photoshop confusing at first cos there was so much stuff.
Blessed are those who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.
that reminds me..my friend put some new programs on my computer when she was over yesterday, one of which is photoshop6, which I'll install now
deluxe is an awesome little program, see how it compares to photoshop
the text probs you've had with deluxe Xi, that wouldn't be the text item shifting on the screen when you zoom in/out?
edit: "thankyou for choosing adobe photoshop6!"
(lol, anytime guys)
They like you too?
:)Isn't it nice of them to thank us?
Gives me a warm feeling inside as I create graphics.
just makes you...pop, doesn't it?
Learned a couple of more tricks.
Gear, Saw and Leather
So...We are still going to die. Right?
very nice
This makes me wanna get back to Uni so I can use the school's Photoshop7
Till then its MSPaint and Photo It!2.0
Does anyone have Photoshop Elements?
I can afford that, but I'm cautious of the lack of features.
And no. I dont wanna DL. I'm a good boy with a 56k modem.

lokigod:
Thanks
FJ:
I don't have Photoshop Elements. I only have Photoshop 5.5 which a copied years ago from a place i worked for. I am planning to buy Photoshop 8 when i learn enough stuff so that i can pay back the investment of it. It is a lot of dough if you want to just mess around with pictures, but there is really nothing better out there once you learn all the stuff and how to use it.
It all depends on what you want to use it for...
So...We are still going to die. Right?
I just want the damn rubber stamp tool! That thing rocks. I used it SO much when I was doing design in high school. I dont think Elements has it. I'll just wait till school starts.
Photoshop is SO stupidly priced. Its like they think that if you're not part a design firm you wont use most of the features. It sucks. I think if they made it available to the average consumer at a few hundred $$, they would make heaps more money.

What i am thinking of doing is buying the upgrade since i already have a version of it. It's $500 less.
It is stupidly priced since they simply can. Since their main focus is the business sector and since the business sector are the ones who have the $$$ and also don't want the risk of anything ilegal, the enthusiasts are really meaningless to them.
For the rubber stamp tool you can still use the 5.5 It is easier to find a copy of that than 8.0
So...We are still going to die. Right?
I'm just knocking up a new avvy in photoshop now, where the hell is the copy? gahhhh
seriously, I can select the image to be copied, but where's the copy button...?

To copy a layer or whatever it should be in the edit menu. Hope that is what you meant.
So...We are still going to die. Right?
After you copy an image from your browser, go in to Photoshop. File>New, leave the settings as-is. Once it's open, hit Ctrl-V.
sorted. thoroughly, thouroughly, sorted
Not sure I understand what you're saying there...
it means the problem is solved.
I wasn't used to using keyboard shortcuts and couldn't find cut in anyof the onscreen menus.
All good
thanks for clearing that up everybody
You're welcome, I think...
cool.
here is some doodling i did a few years ago when i was tinkering with ps that i still like for some reason.

Megatokyo! I love that comic, and that character, Mitoko-chan or something like that, she's weird. I wish I could colour on a computer as good as that. Very nice work, it helps that I'm a fan but still, good work.
Heres something I done once, I posted it elsewhere here before, I think i got one response before, which sucked as I spent a lot of time on it, I'm a newb to photoshop.
This was completely from scratch, no used no pictures to create this.

This was a drawing I scanned in, then doubled the image and flipped the double. Done in Fireworks, I don't have PhotoShop reinstalled on this computer yet.

How good is Fireworks? I downloaded the EDU version, it sucked balls, but the EDU isn't the whole thiong, it had almost two effects on it.
