Manhunt 2
"Manhunt 2 isn't a sequel in the true sense of the word," explains PJ Sim, our Rockstar representative and Manhunt tour guide for the day. "The story is completely unrelated to the original game, it's set in a different time and place and it has brand new characters." Therefore James Earl Cash, the cold-blooded killer from the first game, doesn't make his return, instead replaced by a bespectacled scientist named Doctor Daniel Lamb. Not the obvious choice for lead character in a game packed with blood and gore, but that's what makes Manhunt 2 so interesting - it's daring to do something a bit different.
Convinced his work should continue, Pickman needed a guinea pig to help him make his vision become a reality. "Danny's ambitious enough to accept this challenge and volunteers himself for the treatment, knowing that personal fame and glory could be waiting around the corner," explains Sim. "Unfortunately for Danny disaster strikes when there's a defect in the treatment, causing unforeseen side effects. Danny is apprehended and sent away to the Dixmore hospital for the criminally insane, where the key is effectively thrown away."
Not really surprised that they are/trying to stick the game with a AO rating, The gore level doesnt sound much diffrent from the first game though. :censored:
Oh well, I dont buy games from Big box stores anyway, im sure its going to turn out to be just as good. The first game was the tits!

Dang, I heard on the radio this morning that its banned all over Ireland, I have the first one but havent played it yet.
The first one was an awful game aside from the last chapter when the naked pig man is chasing you around the attic with a chainsaw, todger a-flappin' betwixt his flabby ham hocks.
look closely and you can see his dick hangin' between his legs.
but anyway, this makes me want to get a wii now.

What was the first game about?
Oh, wait, I'm on the INTERNET...
*goes to find out*

The majority of main gameplay functions are intact, violence, gore and all. If Danny beats a hunter with a mace, the carnage will play out uncensored, and blood will splatter onto the main character's clothes.
But there have been some unfortunate content omissions, too. When we first wrote about Manhunt 2, we referenced a particularly nasty death sequence, in which Danny could use a pair of pliers to literally rip the testicles off a hunter. That murder has been completed removed from the updated build of the game. Not a big deal for us, as it only amounts to one kill out of dozens. Danny can still saw into the heads of enemies, or bludgeon them with a blunt object, or stab them, or use a syringe on them, or even use the environments to take them out.
The biggest and most disappointing change relates to the major death strikes. When Danny sneaks up on an enemy, gamers will be given the option to pick from three different murder animations. In the AO-rated build of Manhunt 2, we could clearly see these over-the-top and horrific animations. In the M-rated version, Rockstar has added both an extreme blur effect and in most cases darkened the graphics so that it is nearly impossible to make any sense of what is going on. Players will be able to see character movement, blood splatters, and sometimes they may catch a glimpse of an identifiable action (for example, Danny jamming nails into the legs of a chair-bound opponent), but mostly it's guesswork - a garbled, motiony mess that's far less satisfying.
What the fuck?! I could careless about some dude getting his dick cut off, but the murder scenes? give me a break. \/\/\/\/\/

Banned in England because fucking right wing news papers like the daily mail kicked up a shit storm and linked the first game with a teen murder.
"Workers of the world unite!"

god bless snuff games
I can believe that goverments actually waste time banning videogames when there is a lot of more important issues at hand to be treated by them.
I haven't even played Manhunt 1 but those games look good I want to play them
cant fuckin believe they censored it.
maybe theres hope for an uncut version sometime in the future.
Im willing to pay any price.

The full uncencored game for PS2 is on the internet right now. You could burn for a modded PS2.

I just got it on PSP.
Even though the kills all have the scrambling filters, the game is still a lot of fun and looks much better on the PSP screen than with the PS2 or Wii on a TV

Its getting really shitty reviews, mostly complaining about the camera and the kill filter. Im still gonna get it, its 29.99 for the PS2 version.
I'd like you to tell me that you are a false prophet and that God is a superstition.
Are there any AO games out there? I've been searching.

Adults only games simply dont get made.
Stores will not sell them so companies will not make them.
So your free to make a game as graphic as you wish..... just try pitching the idea of basing all your sales through website orders.. no best buy, game stops exct......
Basically its impossible.
a few games have done it, and the only one that sold enough to be even worth mentioning in a public forum is a playboy porn type game of which im guessing they sold through the magazine.
manhunt 2 is said to be far less entertaining than manhunt 1. Im not a fan of the series.
but if you want some graphic and creapy gaming in a more interesting story telling agenda everyone should go out and start playing BIOSHOCK now!!! its fantastic!!!
you may not see much castrating action but you will be consumed by a story/world that you wont soon forget, very disturbing and enthralling

Yeah thats kinda what I figured, and it's really too bad.
But as for Bioshock... right after I bought it I took it home, put it in and I get the fuckin Red Ring of Death!
So my 360 is in for repairs
BUT.. then I was borrowing a buddys 360.. got two hours into Bioshock and then HIS BROKE.
Maybe the gaming gods just don't want me to play Bioshock
I remember a while ago....in the back of PC Gamer I think...they had a mail order software company that sold adult games (Duke Screw 'em being one I remember).
The most gory kill in Manhunt 2 was shoving a buzz saw up a man's ass and then running it up his back. But that was the absolute worst. Everything else wasn't that all sickening.
I love how fucked up government types can be about censoring and banning games. I'm over 21. Buying cigs and booze no problem. But every god damn time I buy an M rated game, I get carded. Hell, it's legal in some state for underage kids to buy fucking firearms with less hassle. What the fuck people?
A man chooses. A slave obeys.

Loved the first one..and I know that this one is one of the reasons I regret that I don´t own a playstation2 anymore.
But im sure that sooner or later it will be released on PC. This one looks even sickier than the first one.
