thanks alot
I know, it's not the light that stretched, theres a little feather right in front of it. It's too hard to see, and I didn't save the PSD file I would have to start over if I wanted to move it.
I fixed it.
did you render the fathers or did u find them someplace?

u'll have to C/P the URL but its a bigger version of my avitar. which works reasonably well for wallpaper. its made with gimp2.0 (the linux version of your program)

About 4 months.
I've been drawing for a long time.
theres a windows port of gimp www.gimp.org. theres things about it i like better than PS like the fuzzy logic selector can me dragged rather than just used to select an area of color. IE i cut out the bomb in my pic in one step. i know from experiance tha at least in PS5.5 this isnt possible

Well theres a background eraser tool that works well for that.
Personally paint shop pro is really simple to use and does almost a good a job as PS, but if you want super hi-res detailed images you need all the plugins photoshop can support.
thats what i like aboout gimp is its got all the distortion/filters/niftiness that you can do with PS amd its got the added ability to write your own scripts if it doesnt do precisely the thing u want (however i dont know how to do this yet)
plus its free
