I Blog..Do you blog?
Every since me hit up the Cult, me spend mo' time on the web. not saying its a bad ti'ng. so me frequent mo' sites. esp, a handful of blogs. me see all the cool links and downloads. me t'inks i can do that. rather than just pollute the web on one site(here), me decided to have my own personal blog. shit, fred duh-rst has one, why not I?
I have little knowledge on html coding, but I'm finding it fun to learn. At the moment, I'm just stealing all the stuff I like from other sites. Eventually, I'll read a book or view a tutorial on this tech stuff. My blog is pretty low-key at t'e moment, but I'll try adding mo' stuff as I learn.

Or as a pseudo [URL=http://midwestrocklobster.blogspot.com/2006/04/dark-side-of-moonshine.html]entertainment[/URL] review.
I've always treated it as a semi-private place to do all this stuff. When I first started, I got just about no traffic. Now I get over a hundred hits a day (unique users, not total pageloads). I even have some regulars, it appears. A dozen or so repeat visitors who've been to my blog more than ten times.
But I still get only one or two comments on a post, so I didn't know this audience, small as it is, had materialized. I get the ocasional email from someone who reads my blog regularly.
Which is a mixed bag for me: it's hard to focus on getting back on the novel when people won't read me for free. But the level of confessional honesty that makes for good blog entries requires me to assume that anyone who reads it probably already knew about whatever I'm writing about, or would hear about it soon enough anyway.

I hadn't blogged for 6+ months then I posted one on myspace due to lack of nothing better to do. Checked it the morning after and it had gotten 36 views. I was like "WTF? People are actually reading my crappy thoughts that I spew via the net?" So I now I post twice daily, one about a rant I have either promoting or denouncing something and one at night about how the day went. I figure, hey if people are gonna actually read it, might as well.
I blog. I'm using WordPress and it's pretty cool. I have the following catergories:
* aphorisms (13)
* borrowed (20)
* photo-synthetic (20)
* porthole (7)
* what’s up (37)
In aphorisms I write aphorisms. I like writing those cause it's a challenge to think of something interesting or thought-provoking and package it into just one sentence.
In Borrowed I post things that are not mine, like short stories, or pictures or just anything that is not mine but that I like. Sometimes with comentary.
In photo-synthetic I post pictures I took, with comentary.
In Port-hole I post stuff I wrote.
What's up is more like a journal, just everyday stuff.
I've had two people compliment me on my blog at MySpace, which I only half remembered posting stuff to. I put all my effort,really, into my blogger site. Go figure.

I have a blog on myspace, and I put all this really personal stuff in it, because the only people on my list were people I didn't see on a daily basis and I wanted to give life updates (romantic, financial, emotional, etc.) And then a bunch of my friends from home got ahold of my page, and they read all the back-blogs and it's just fucking humiliating, to say the least. I really hate being at parties and having people come up to me and say things like, "So, your blog said you're like, so broke you're eating canned fruit, huh?"
There is hope, but not for us.
