Halo
The second will be out toward the end of this year and I cannot wait. Urban combat with the ability to wield dual weapons, an improved assualt rifle equipped with a scope, better AI, the Hunter gets an Elites agility and becomes a Brute, and many other improvements that should make it one hell of a game.
But this thread is all for all things Halo.
I actually suck at multiplayer. But Im decent at Campaign. Im currently trudging along through the game on Heroic. And Ive come to a few conclusions:
The other marines are useless. They shoot you and die before you can execute them yourself and way before they can become of any use. Those small orange convenant can take them out with ease.
The hardest common enemy are those small guys with shields. They are always rolling around doding or reflecting all the firepower you have. The only weapon that works on them is the plasma pistol which is poor weapon against most other enemies. Yes the sniper rifle and grenades easily can put one of these bastards down but they are not common weapons.
Elites are best killed with needler. Because it can get them even when they are hiding.
Legendary has got to be impossible especially with the Flood. Im dreading reaching them on Heroic.

I hate Halo.
The only time that I played I got pissed off, threw down the controller, and left.

Yep, chicks aren't good at videogames. It's a man's sport. They'd be better off with games lik Tetris, Bust-A-Move or Ms. Pacman. Yep, gaes that suck.
Anyways, Halo, yep, I beat it on Legendary*, no big deal.
*first three levels on Legendary, but that's no small feat.

To put it this way: I was playing for my first time ever, and it was my first time on an Xbox. I hate Xbox controllers. They're too big for my hands. I was playing with 5 dudes who played all of the fucking time. Needless to say, it was very boring for me, and I felt useless. I actually did something really fucking brilliant once, and I almost succeeded, but my brother's an asshole sniper. Anyway, I just got pissed at the whole scenario and left.
But let's go play Perfect Dark, bitch, and we'll see who's still laughing.

Well, they make smaller Xbox controllers to accomodate you inferior players.

I used to rock Perfect Dark, though I have been beaten.
My game, honestly, is SSX. I can rock anyone on any SSX game, especially 3, and especially if I'm drunk.

i think to maximise your chances of killing efficiently, you need to A) choose your weapons with consideration to who you are shooting and
use hand-to-hand attacks to your advantage.
eg. ever been stuck in a tight spot with 1 clip of ammo left?
imagine if you were smashing open faces with the butt of your gun
earlier, and saving that ammo etc.
i really like this game.
im quite good at it.
im not the best, but i can
