Games you're looking forward to

Just watched this. I think it looks pretty sweet. And it has a decent story. This will be a pretty huge departure for Call of Duty though (unless I'm misunderstanding what I'm seeing) as it looks like it's in the near future as opposed to a war that's already happened.

Don't understand why it has 5,000 dislikes though. I guess haters gonna hate.

Is NO ONE dying for Diablo 3? Every single guy I know can't wait for that.

I don't even know what that is. But I also wouldn't consider myself a "gamer" at all.

Apparently it's a big deal. I wouldn't know, I've never played anything seriously.

I could see why it has so many dislikes. Personally I'm a big fan of Black Ops, and it's really all I play, and from that trailer, I don't really like the direction they're taking it. I find it hard to imagine what the online gameplay is going to be like with big robot tank things as the main focus.

As for Diablo 3, well I've been waiting for that forever. I played Diablo 2 a bit, but my brother was a huge fan, so if I get a decent computer I might pick that up. All three of my computers right now are shit and in no way could run that game. (One five year old laptop, one desktop full of viruses, and a weeeeaaaak netbook.)

Also, Activision gets boatloads of money just to remake the same game every. Single. Year.

It's popular.
It makes money.
It's released every year on the dot essentially making a game you bought recently obsolete in a matter of months.
People are going to hate on it.

BLOPS2 looks pretty great.

Please tell me somebody else here is getting this on PS3.

Anyone know what game is being released tonight? The Gamestop in my town is open and packed right now. Thankfully it's a video game release and not an Air Jordan shoe release, or else we'd have a shooting by now.

Ha no. In the last couple of months they've had a couple Air Jordan releases and there have been riots and shootings at those events. It's different when you release a video game vs new Jordans in the ghetto, is all.

That's how the story starts in Jennifer Government. They purposely don't make enough Jordans so there will be a shooting. Any publicity is good publicity, especially free publicity.

I had forgotten completely about that book. I think I remember liking it.

I noticed that they are finally coming out with a new Rainbow Six game - Rainbow Six: Patriots. I'm so stoked.

Rainbow Six and Hitman are my favorite games I think. And guess what? A new Hitman is coming out too! Bought time!

I ordered two games on Amazon. Should be arriving about Wednesday. I only buy older games because I got my system late in its generation and I'm cheap.

Infamous 2. Because I loved the first one. Apparently this one is on a much grander scale and even has a Littlebig Planet creation tool thing going on.

Castlevania Lords of Shadow. I know. I hear it's only ok with great visuals and story. But I'm a big Castlevnia fan and I see from E3 they are making a sequel to this.

I first read that as "Dildo 3. Everyone's obsessed with it."

I've been paying a lot of attention to some of these F2P shooters developers keep releasing, like Blacklight: Retribution, Planestside 2, and Warface. A lot of these games look 100x better than most retail games. Maybe F2P is the way of the future.

Shin Megami Tensei 4 - I just can't wait for the first info. This game alone sells 3DS to me.

Officially looking forward to DmC and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

This is significant because I've never much liked these sorts of games, hack 'n' slashers or whatever you want to call them.

Thinking of getting God of War Saga.

It's basically all 5 God of War games for 40 bucks. I beat the first one a long time ago and thought it was good.

The thing that annoys me about this thread is that most of the games I've said I was looking forward to on it eventually came out and disappointed me, some more than others. It's almost embarrassing seeing three pages of me jabbering on about how awesome Brink is going to be. Makes me not really want to post in it anymore.

ZombieU looks like its going to be all sorts of fun. But I wont be buying the new Nintendo System. I Am excited for the new Metal Gear and Also RE6. I am a zombie whore what can I say. And since Dead Island let me down I need my fix.

I ordered Arkham City GOTY Edition for PS3. Looking forward to that.
