I just got a PS3 for Christmas! Oh, the possibilities!
congratulations. I think at this point it's the best home console on the market.

I could have had one of those if my car hadn't broke down

Speaking of PS3, they're making a new version of Demon's Soul for the 360. I'm looking forward to it.

As far as I know From Software is not owner of Demon's Souls IP anymore. But I think it might be something new (like Eternal Ring on PS2). Plus I find DS overrated. It's a good and fun game but it lacks in almost every aspect of gameplay. World is too small, not much things to do after finishing game once, weapon upgrade system is broken, fighting system is broken, online is forced. I could go on but that are the most important parts.

I just want L.A Noire to come the hell out already. When is that due, anyway?
I don't remember if I put Gears of War 3 on here. If not, then that one. haha
I want this game inside me.

Then you couldn't play it!
I'm looking forward to the Shadow of the Colossus/Ico HD pack, primarily because they are both some of the most visually poetic games ever released, and now they will look much better than before.
Other than that:
LA Noire

Journey

Uncharted 3

The Last Guardian

Portal 2

Stacking (the new game from Double Fine)

What's that last one?
A weeble wobble game?
also, is that Dustin Hoffman in the first picture?
That's LA Noire (from the guys behind the Grand Theft Auto series and the Red Dead series). And that guy looks nothing like Dustin Hoffman.
That looks exactly like Hoffman, circa Graduate/Little Big Man.
It would be nice if those pictures were at least labeled... I have no idea what any of them are.
I want Kid Icarus and Resident Evil: Merceneries 3D badly. After 3DS presentation I'm sure I will buy it.

Dude, I just discovered this: If you right click the pictures and click on "save picture as" it will tell you the game names

You can also quote him and read the url's for each picture. But I didn't want to go through all that work when he could have just titled each pic...
No biggie though.
I'm with everybody else - looking forward to L.A. Noire.

May have to check out Bulletstorm. I've avoided it so far because it looked really Serious Sam-ish. But it looks kind of fun.
May also get Killzone 3. L.A. Noire is still a "maybe."

LA Noire comes out in USA on May 17.
May 20 in Europe.
Clue Finding, Shootouts, Car Chases, Post WWII setting. What's not to love?
Played the demo.
I was wrong.

Played the demo.
I was wrong.
I didn't like Painkiller (and this game shares same creators with Bulletstorm), so I wasn't expecting anything special from this one. Looks like I was right.

In all fairness, LA Noire isn't developed by Rockstar, it is developed by Team Bondi who doesn't have any actual credits of their own yet. Though the studio lead is mostly responsible for The Getaway.
Rockstar have provided them with support and are the Publishers.
It's kind of like saying Pulp Fiction is from the guys behind The Little Mermaid.
Played the demos to both Breach and Crysis 2, two games I'd been looking forward to.
Both disappointed me.
Crysis 2 plays a lot like this XBLA game called BlackLight: Tango Down. If you've ever played that then you know that's not a good thing. Graphics are average at best, lots of pop-ins and jagged lines.
Breach on the other hand looks and plays like shit. I can't even begin to explain how amazingly shitty it is. You have to go play it for yourself.

Though I haven't played Crysis 2, it's pretty well accepted that Crysis is a PC franchise. If you want to play it, you shouldn't be doing so on a console. Kind of like TF2.
They pretty much made Crysis for the consoles this time around because they lost money on the last game. And I seriously doubt playing it on the PC would make it any better. It's not like the core gameplay changes from system to system.
I'm sure the single-player is good and all, but the multiplayer is beyond bland.

I'm looking forward to Killzone 3, Crysis 2 and LA Noire.
Oh and Brink.

I wasn't even the least bit interested in FEAR 3.
Then I read this: http://www.joystiq.com/2011/03/15/fear-3-preview/

L.A NOIREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Not long now.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK! I'm losing my mind over this. It's gonna be ridiculously good.
And one more, from behind the scenes:

I want Yakuza 4, badly. But I still don't have PS3, and that state will continue for next 2-3 months. ;<

i'm really excited about shadows of the damned and el shaddai at the mo. i love suda 51's story telling style so it will me great to see that married to shinji mikami's gameplay styles .
haute cature and getting hauter
i was really excited to finally get my grubby mits on CRYSIS2, and now, i dont know if i understand what all they hype is about, besides the graphics, its nothing special.

The dancing soldiers easter egg. HELLO!
When was there any hype?
Game looks like ass.
Looks like a damn Jackson Pollack painting. Too much shit going on.

Looking forward to this. First Resident Evil game I've been interested in in a long time. The fact that it's not being made by Capcom is a huge plus for me.
Capcom is also putting out HD versions of RE4 and Code Veronica.

That's what happens when a technical benchmark tries to be a game.
And I don't care about Operation Raccoon City. I far, far more hyped for Merceneries 3D.

Gotta agree with you there. I only play about one game a year. I enjoyed the shit out of Red Dead Redemption and I always thought that Rockstar should do a 40's game. I've also spotted a handful of Mad Men actors in the trailers, which excites me so, so, so much.

It's time to kick ass and chew gum. And I'm all out of gum.
