Frickin Awesome

There I was, sitting on the chair, listening to the wind blowing through the room. The window was open. I could hear birds singing outside, but I couldn't tell which kind of birds they were. You know. Birds come in many shapes sizes and colors... I know nothing about birds. I know that they sing, and I know that they fly. But that's about it. I'm not even sure what they eat. But anyway, the point of this post is not the birds. The point of this post is to tell you, all of you, that I am writing this through a speech recognition program. That's right. For years I have been wondering exactly how this stuff worked. And now I've taken the plunge. I downloaded some software that lets me dictate straight into my computer. This is the result. Not too shabby, I suppose. This is the first time that I'm using this and I have to get used to it because if I become proficient at this, then I will be able to write my essays so much more quickly than the usual. It seems that the recognition function on this program is pretty accurate, which is amazing to see. I could talk and talk and talk for hours. I could rant and rant without stopping for air, and all of you mothers would have to be subjected to it!
