Create me a banner
Hey guys,
Okay, who's up for a challenge?
My co-director and I are in the casting process of our feature film 'Absence,' and we need a banner/logo to sit at the top of our website so that when actors come and check it out, they get impressed.
The banner only needs to say 'Kinky Mule Films' and be long and horiztal. like 468x60.
Dark in tone. Yet sharp and maybe a little sleek?
Anyone up for it?

and i can. see the banner in my signature? remember the bomb thing i used to have as an avatar? or the cult coffin thing? beat that. im tinkering because im not a photoshop wizard, but at least im doing something besides bitching and not trying..
oh and if i could get the text that way and keep the background i had then it that would look awesome as hell but i cant tell why the background goes away.. so yeah fuck off.

a friend of mine said one time that his froend growing up.. that his dad owned a mortuary.. and that at least once he slept in one of the (unused) coffins. and that its more comfortable in there than you want to know.

Right now, I own KinkyMuleFilms.com, which is the film company my friend and I started that we're making a smaller film under this summer (before "Our Lady of Sorrow"). So we need to whip up a simple templated site for KinkyMuleFilms.com that we can link all our projects too ('sorrow," "chuck doc" and the new film).
Here's an example of a banner that would work for us. (*see attached). I forget who whipped this up for us, so I can't credit them. But take some influence from it.

It's nice, but it just has the complete wrong tone and feel to it. It's sort of flowery and wallpaper-ish. I think that's what you were going for. But it doesn't fit the tone of our company. It lacks the darkness and edge. (as cheesy as that sounds).
I had somehow missed Minuet's banner, which I probably like the best out of all of them. But I'm not crazy about that electric looking firefly thing on the left. :confused:

cool, I am game. Personally I don't like any of the banners either, and the one that is used to example isn't top notch either. So what you are looking for is simply some images thrown together with some simple text? That can be easilly done.
