There is this one site(I'm searching for it now) where they took a whole bunch of pictures of a shutdown hospital. creepy but cool.

fino, that is a pretty cool site, old buildings like that make for great photography.

These are all awesome links, thanks everyone. Some very cool stuff out there. Personally I don't like a lot of movement on a website. I tend to like graphics and muted or dark colors.

I'm going to be learning Dreamweaver (thanks in advance Sparq!) and I wanted to get a sense of what people are drawn to so I can futz around and maybe build a site.

I think my fave so far that I found through Sparq's CSS link is this one:

Not so much the coloring but the conception. I like the way it had that building looming up instead of a header. Its very simple and spare and relies on color and contrast.

That hospital one is great fino, very stark photos.
