When Jack first meets Tyler Durden on his business flight, he notices that they have the same briefcase. Does that signify that Jack is content with one aspect of his sense of style? Or is the scene centered on the fact that Tyler seems indifferent about the briefcase coincidence?

Yeah, it is Mignola. Apparently, it was from a internet cartoon last year on scifi.com or something that I had never heard about until just a few days ago.
I always took it as a bit of foreshadowing them being the same person.
