State of Play
Fight Club 2.
No, but Brad Pitt and Edward Norton are both signed on for the movie adaptation of the British miniseries "Sate of Play".
Since I loved both of them in fight club I figured I'd post this. Anyone know anything about this or how the miniseries was?

^doesn't include Norton but I figured I'd add the imdb anyway

Damn, you got me.
In reality, unreliable sources say he is.

I don't know what the hell the film will be like - after they try and transpose all the British stuff into an American setting - but the series was absolutely excellent.

Whoa!! The comments on that page read like some the posts over here. This is like that episode of Sienfeld where the gang meets Elaine's new friends and they're like the anti-Kramer, George, Jerry. That's actually the first comment page I've ever seen on the web where the posters wern't all complete fucking idiots. I might subscribe.
Yeah right, like this place doesn't take up every bit of my free time.
You see, most people post like week old news on this site. I'm way ahead of the curve.

Attention
To the best of my knowledge, Brad Pitt has decided not to do this movie now.

True, true - often with disappointing results.
However, as this is Kevin Macdonald and the cast looks pretty decent (if they can find a good Pitt replacement) - then this could be alright.
Russell crowe is barely an acceptable substitute for brad pitt.

Ok, now Edward Norton is also not going to be in this. Instead of it being edward and pitt, it is now affleck and crowe. Seriously, fuck this shit.

Really? Where did you read this. He's still listed in the IMDB.

Jesus - that's dreadful.
There's the writer's strike for you. Brad wanted a rewrite but they couldn't come up with one because of the writer's strike. So they had to replace him.
I refuse to watch a Russell Crowe movie, dammit Pitt and Norton would have been spectacular.
Can I just reiterate to you guys - regardless of whether this has Norton/Pitt or Ferrell/Pee Wee Herman - you should really try and get hold of the original BBC series. It's superb.
All I know is Rachel McAdams is a whore.
I don't have much proof, but I can feel it, and that's going to all that I'll be thinking while seeing it. What. A. Whore.

Wait, Will or Colin?
Will. He gives good emoting.

Hehe. If The IMDB page doesn't have Norton listed, how do you know he's signed on for it. Are you Edward Norton?
Hey guys!! Mricpx is really Edward Norton!!! Autograph please. K. Thx.
