How has Fight Club influenced you?
How have you changed since Fight Club. We all can't become radical people spreading the word, but we can better are areselves, how have you?
I joined a men-only cult of terrorists who jizz in soup and don't like Starbucks. It's a rad life, for sure.
if i say to myself: "if i havent feel uncompfort then i havent live, only self-destruction can bring me closer to peace and happyness." then i can make myself belive it for a while, so theres no problem going against fights in school or doing things that i dont like.
ive also started fixing up my life in knowledge that i might die in any moment
besides of that, this movie and this books hasnt influecned me much
I swore off reality shows, and try not become attatched to possessions.
I love my FC dvd and my copies of Chuck's books - I'm attatched to possesions....

No one will take my Destiny's Child CDs..
Imagine fighting Shadow(far right) from Gladiators.

He was always going off into his 'roid rage frenzies, he's about to squeeze and break Ulrika in half!
hmmm ,has anyone actually attempted to make a fightclub, i mean i know right after you watch fightclub you want to make a fightclub, but has anyone still wanted to do this two or three hours later?
I was in a fight once but it was before I saw fight club and after that time I avoid any kind of violence
Because there is nothing over the rainbow… - http://theunsunnyvalley.wordpress.com
I avoid violence as well.
My sister will deck me whenever the fuck she feels like it.. most often when I'm driving. I think there were some kids in my school who wanted to start one once, but as far as I know it never happened.
scary rednecks have been getting together to fight since forever
I don't need to punsch people, I punch myself...
plus i kill people in gta so I don't feel that need in real life.
scary rednecks have been getting together to fight since forever
It's true; I think they do it at the Taco bell here..
sometimes those type of guys would show up at our highschool parties and it got all Hills have Eyes - ish - we'd be all yuppie-like tripping on acid or whatnot and these coked up redneck guys would come out of the woods and just reak havoc on our shit ... it was scary.
Every once in a while we have confederate reenactors that walk the streets with their rifles and all..
I guess thats sort of a "fight club"
Hate, and sizing things up.
No one is above me, below me. We are all the same. We will be free.
I have a different taste in books, movies, and music. I don't know if that's Fight Club's fault or if that's actually a product of growing up, but either way, it works.
I look for cigarrete burns on films
I am no longer a slave to the young adult novelists.

I no longer pay attention to anti-consumerists because they're annoying.

I feed babies gasoline, then set fire to them and throw them through windows.
"I Killed my Boss"
In your mind or in your cellar? The quotes are kind of throwing me.
Good coffee is like drinking Rock and Roll.
Corellion, That’s beautiful! P.S., my boss is not THAT DEAD!, NOT YEAT
and by "Boss" do you mean "Parents?"
i was talking about the work force, But killing my dad is not be a bad idea! it would mean to free my self from every ancestor from his side. inmagine that, the man who came from no where, how about that! anny comments?
Fight Club was the genesis that changed everything for me. I cannot imagine who I would be today had I not found it.
Three cheers for violence.
I was pretty changed by Fight Club.
1) Deleted my myspace. Myspace is a waste of time." This is your life and its ending one minute at a time."
2) Stopped eating so much god damned nachos and coke. "On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero."
3) Actually began to focus a little better in school. " His breakfast will taste better than any meal you and I have ever tasted "
4) I let go of worrying about how I look and tested myself by shaving my head. " The ability to let that which does not matter... truly slide "
Although I cant give fight club all of the credit. My father always tells me to workout. study. and that social life should never take you over.
And of course my brother who once said that I could do anything I wanted, and no one can ever stop me. I am 1 in few of teens who does not smoke or drink. Fight club definitely did play a part in my life though. Sorry to give ya my life story though!
because of fight club I only hate my job more than before. I don't know is it a good thing.
Because there is nothing over the rainbow… - http://theunsunnyvalley.wordpress.com
Thats one aspect of fight club that many people can relate to " Working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we dont need " Well I dont know about the shit we dont need but many americans hate their jobs it seems like. I recently visited a Disney World theme park. mind you these parks are made mostly for the attraction of children, I asked for dr.pepper and he very bluntly and rudely said with an angry voice, "dont have it" and wondered off into space like I wasnt even ordering. He abviously hated his job. I wanted to punch him in the face and tell him to quit... but then my money would be wasted :madfawk:

What's Fight Club?
the novel got me really into reading in 2000 (I was 17), especially the satire / dark humor genre.
I still remember the date-night I saw the movie for the first time in the theater.
the soundtrack became my most favorite CD for the longest time.
Let's just say I lost "something" to a girlfriend while watching the Fight Club DVD in 2002.
Chuck is coming to town (Columbus, OH) in mid-may, and I am so excited. We're going to have a screening of Fight Club at a local movie theater that same night as well.
Like many here, he is my favorite author, and David Fincher became one of my favorite directors.

I bought the collector DVD and showed it to all of my friends.

I was happy I bumped into it while I was growing up
It opened to me a whole new dimension to literature and pushed me to revive my storytelling dreams.
A lot of change, conscious and subconscious came by not just through Fight Club but stuff that followed Fight Club. Two of the most important have been -
1. Chuck Palahniuk in all his greatness, his other works, his ideas, his non fiction, even his interviews.
2. The Cult.
Fight Club absolutely changed my life
I stopped looking up to people and started seeing everyone as my equal
I also started respecting myself more
I used to have huge issues with depression [but who doesnt deal with that at one point in their life?]
And because of Fight Club, I was able to live my life to the fullest, every day and not just sit at home and mope over insignificunt bullshit
I actually did start a fight club with 10 or 11 of my friends but we only met 4 times and I dont talk to most of them anymore
Man, the first two rules were to not talk about it.
EVERYONE HERE IS TERRIBLE AT FOLLOWING RULES!!!

I hit myself as hard as I can and even now my jaw hurts when I eat...
