Does anyone else think that the duel personalities represented in the movie Fight Club is like when Neo chooses his destiny in the Matrix. When Neo takes the red pill he steps into the world of reality. When Edward Norton shots himself he is stepping into the real world for the first time, casting off his useless personality that was shielding him.

Hmm...wonder how long I will last.
Your quote thing, or whatever it is called, that phrase in blue, I almost went blind trying to read it, then it took me about 3 seconds to get the joke once I did read it, then I cracked up.

. .

that's the art of Mitch Hedberg. he told us, I found this stuff that turns your toilet water blue. they’re called blue popsicles. but you gotta eat a whole lot of em.

A friend put me on to his stand up late last year. Clevenger used the above example in his week one lecture for an example of what he calls slot machine memory, the way to bring the reader in and make them figure it out while their not even trying to figure anything out. the brain just gets to working and by the time you almost say i dont get it, it's right there, unfolded and youre laughing at the punchline.

oh, bty, it's called a sig, as in a signature. Im not sure why i have mine in php code, but i guess in some part of my bird like brain im thinking that the obscurity of the difficult-to-read blue is fitting to the content of the joke and also it isnt an open punchline as you have to think hard for a second just to get it.
