About the Diary Street Team
I have been out of town for the past few weeks and just heard about the street team today. I just signed up.
Has anyone already recieved material? I am hoping not, so I still have a chance to get some stuff to spread the word.

I got the poster for the first round contest. It's August 2nd, you have till August 15th to take a picture of your poster in the most creative place. In the letter that came with the poster it says that materials for orund two will be in the mail shortly.

got the poster but i have no clue what would be a creative place to put it where it would stay up for more than three seconds.

Its a regular size poster, not as large as a movie poster. It has the Diary cover on it and it has the word "dear" writtten before it to make the following look like a diary entry "My new book is on sale today and I'm so happy!" At the top is the release date (August 26, 2003) and there a nice pic of chuck to the side thats made to appear as if were taped onto the poster.
I didnt get anything...i suck.

I haven't gotten anything yet. But then again, our mailman leaves mail that's too big to fit in the boxes outside our doors at the apartments. The people across the hall were gone for the weekend and got their Sunday paper stolen, so I wouldn't doubt that may have happened to my poster.

I finally got mine today, and the people who live in my building actually left it alone sitting outside my door (amazing!) yay. I'm completely blank on what to do with it, even though the deadline is already over now. Oh well. I'll still do it. At least I won't waste it.
I didn't think it was too horrible of a design. It was a little too....um, shiny and pretty maybe? I dunno.
I don't know how well they liked mine... I'll post the pics up here later.
I sealed mine behind drywall in an office building under construction. Seemed appropriate. Not exactly good promotion now, but... When that building gets torn down or remodeled some years from now, someone's likely to get freaked. Especially if they go and read the book afterwards...
