Culling song
I was wandering if there is an actual culling song. i couldn't find it online if anyone can tell me where to find one or if its real that would be great.

theres a lot of reference to them but i cant find an actual copy of it.
There is a culling song that is referenced in a Mesopotamian transcript. I have been advised not to let it out, but you seem to be someone who is interested in analytical studies so here it is. It's short, but the more you repeat it the stronger it gets. In the book the power behind the culling song is based on pent up emotions. I am afraid to say that this culling song will only work if spoken. You can experiment to see what works best. Stand facing the person you will address and speak "Ohwa tana siam" There you have it, three short words that have been hidden for centuries. DO NOT ABUSE THIS POWER. Kharma is indeed a bitch.
Why should not a writer be permitted to make use of the levers of fear, terror and horror because some feeble soul
here and there finds it more than it can bear? Shall there be no strong meat at table because there happen to be
some guests there whose stomachs are weak, or who have spoiled their own digestions?

I wonder how many times he repeated "Oh, what an ass I am" before he caught on....
In his defense, I was also curious if this is something that Palahniuk researched or something that he just made up... there are so many interesting superstitions and rituals if you look into folklore, religions, etc. I know Neil Gaiman incorporates a lot of folklore into his writing, a lot of it is based on things he has researched but there is also a lot of artistic liberties taken. I wouldn't be surprised if something along the lines of a culling song had been used at some point in time, not to say it actually worked, or that you could could find it and use it today; I just think it seems like something people might have believed in, it certainly wouldn't be the most far fetched. I would be more inclined to believe in a culling song than say, a virgin birth.....

Considering that most of Chuck's research is limited to brief conversations with his neighbor over the back fence, I'd guess that it's something he made up entirely.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Chuck is really Tim the Tool Man Taylor!!!???

C'mon. Chuck is the guy on the other side of the fence. I thought we cleared that up long ago.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Makes sense. He would call himself Wilson Wilson.
