If they are buying it for you get them to buy Diary. It's only for sale in hardcover. Then you can go buy the cheaper paperback Lullaby for yourself!

I was wondering that myself.

I wanted to move this thread into the appropriate forum but I'm just stumped.

Maybe once all the votes are in I can move it to the forum for the book with the most votes?

It's one of my favourite parts in Survivor, the whole thing about Tender wanting to be chased by flesh eating zombies...
It was a feeling I can relate to.

Lullaby is insane, philosophical, magical, beautiful, scary as all hell, funny, sweet, original, apocalyptic, and generally nifty.

Diary is calm, peaceful, quiet, sharp, thoughtful, a tad cliché, painful, easy, mature, and also generally nifty.

While Lullaby is my personal fave, I also highly recommend Diary. Just read them in chronological order (Lullaby first) if you really can't decide.

Diary.

I personally love both of the books, but Diary is my favorite. Maybe it's because it's the first book I read by Chuck, or maybe not. I'm not quite sure.

Lullaby is my favorite Chuck book so far. Or Choke, but if you haven't read Choke then what the hell are you doing in this forum?
