Themes of Religion in Palahniuk novels
For one of my classes, I have to write a 25 page paper that compares an author to some bigger theme. For my piece, I've decided to analyze Chuck Palahniuk books and compare them to religion. However (regrettably) I haven't read all of them. Books that I am definitely looking to include are Invisible Monsters, Choke & Damned -- are there any others that you would recommend?
Sorry if this is a bit misplaced...I just figured that 'Choke' was the most outwardly religion based.
Thanks!
Every single book of his I've read has been about the individual vs. ideology.

Guts is about religion. You'll find that short story in Haunted.

Fight Club! He directly relates it to God and how he feels about God. "If your dad is never there, what does that tell you about God?" "You have to realize that God does not like you" etc. I've read that book enough times and listened to the audiobook enough times to tell you that you could write the whole paper alone on this novel. It's short, sweet, and to the point. You shouldn't have a problem reading this in one day.
Thank you guys for all your help! I really like the idea of the individual vs the ideology & I agree, Fight Club is another good one to include! Does anyone know anything about how any of this relates to Palahniuk personally or where I could find some information related to that? Thanks again!

Awww, I'll help you with your homework.
You should read Survivor. Has a lot of religion stuff right on the surface.
