Chuck was in Choke
So I wouldn't let myself watch the movie until I read the book. Needless to say that finally happened. I enjoyed the book a great deal more but it's still fun seeing books played out. I also noticed Chuck sitting next to Victor on the airplane at the end. Righteous.
I was very impressed with the movie and I think Choke was more true to the novel than any "from-novel-to-movie" flick I have ever seen. The movie had the "sound" and flow of the novel and the story line was accurate, especially for the twisting and tweaking that a novel must undergo to make it ready for film. After reading Choke I wasn't expecting such a fantastic production and I was graciously suprised. Seriously. . .
Yeah, it's tough to say. The director obviously isn't going to be able to please everyone with his own view point. There were a few parts and things about it I really liked but for the most part, i agree with tornado. i interpreted it a lot different; i suppose that's kind of inevitable though. I'm still pretty impatient for his other works to hit the screen.

I also noticed that! It's a nice cameo.
I didn't like the movie very much, maybe because Choke is my favourite book and I had Fight Club as a comparison. High hopes = high desillusions, maybe?
It's not bad, but I expected a bit more, that's all.
