According to STF he had the little group things all the time- like a writers workshop where he and some other peeps got together and just talked about shit- where he picked up idead for shit
he said that he went to the meetings like in fight club and he sat in on sex addicts meetings like in Choke
hes so smart

lots of business have the caroline codes... where can i find out more about this?
anyone know?
its just another testament to chucks love for his own writing. many authors in the past (dosteovsky, the 'existentialists') were very inciteful, but there was just a lack of information. there was rarely anything that you could actually learn, they just stated the obvious. and i suppose that it is thanks to the information age that people are inciteful, as well as informative. i thoroughly enjoy the information in chuck's book, well with the except for the long list of flowers in survivor, just didnt see the significance, but then again, maybe knowing isnt the point.

Not sure if it's true, although Chuck does do his homework.
I keep listening for them in places, but haven't caught any.

Maybe you should start a fire and find out.
the mom is insane.
but its a possibility
well chuck writes about past experiances of him and other people
like the whole historical park that they worked at he probly heard a story from someone about
and he maybe worked in a shopping mall and they buzzed thing like that
Yes what he says is true. The thing is, every story uses different codes, exept for Code Adam. Code Adam means a missing child, and if executed correctly, no one with a kid is allowed to leave the store until the child is found. But as far as other codes, it depends on the store. Paging a Mr. Alexander to blah blah at Home Depot means there's an angry customer/person and they need a manager or someone. Paging Mr... (I don't remember) means there is a threatening person and they need security or big burly guys to help. There are shit loads more, and there are at every store or sporting event.

Not sure, they use things similar to that but it probably varies from place to place. The most common is for alerting security to shpolifters by paging a fictional person. 'could sheila go to eisle four, sheila to eisle four.'
