anybody else download chuck reading choke? I just listened to the first seven chapters. It's friggin awesome. If anybody hasn't been able to get to one of his signings to hear him read this is the place to do it. Audile.com type in Chuck Palahniuk and choke will come up. It's 19.95 but once you've downloaded it you can burn it onto cds, mp3s, whatever your thing is.

You know what kinda cheeses me off about the whole Choke audio CD thing? Not the download, because that's a whole different bag. But, the actual audio CDs (read by Chuck, available later this month, I think) also have a NEW EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW with CHUCK.

Talk about buying the cracker jacks (again, as I bought the dang book in hardcorer and paperback) just to get a new prize! I'm hoping someone (and that it's not me, but let's be serious - it probably will be:() will transcribe Chuck's new interveiw and send it to Dennis, so I don't have to drop $30 on yet ANOTHER copy of the book.

But whatever. If Chuck's talking about the cosmology and origns of Choke, I know I'm gonna love it. Smile

He already has 1098, I don't think it really bothers him how many he has any more.

I might be down for it. And yes little old man, it doesn't "bother" me about how many posts I have now. In fact, it never "bothered" me before. Not even once. Smile

But that's okay! I love you anyway! Smile Big

Whats going on with this? As I'm sure you will have noticed, I really want a copy of this and cannot get one (I am willing to pay the money but have no credit card.) If someone would be willing to burn this to a C.D. and ship it to me I would be more than happy to send a cheque that will more then cover your costs.
