I have wanted to read IM for a long time. Finally my local library got it - but it's the remix. I'd prefer to read the novel as it was originally published the first time. Does anyone know how to do that with this version?

I haven't read the remix, so I can't help you there, but I think some others on this forum have, or are reading it now.

I believe there's a way to read the remix in a way that it was meant to be read originally. One of our members explained it in another forum topic. I'm sure they'll chime in here to help you as soon as they get a chance to.

Getting a copy of the original book and reading that is out of the question I take it.

Stop taking Tuffy and get medical help right away if you notice any of the following rare but serious side effects: bloody or black/tarry stools, persistent stomach/abdominal pain, vomit that looks like coffee grounds, chest/jaw/left arm pain, shortness of breath, unusual sweating, weakness on one side of the body, sudden vision changes, slurred speech. Ask your doctor if Tuffy is right for you.

Buying is a bit out of my budget now, unfortunately. ):

The remix is the way the book was meant to be originally read / published. The publishers thought it was too experimental (and pointless I'd guess) so they printed it as a straight novel.

PGoutis: I did read that in the intro. But I am reading this book by recommendation of a few friends who read the original. I'd prefer to read what they did. I also personally prefer a more linear narrative.

The original isn't linear either. That's what I was trying to say. The remix makes you flip around in it to read the exact same book pretty much...
