I read this in just over one sitting.
It had entertaining moments, but I felt as if I had gained nothing by reading it. It was kind of a bore, and felt rather novel (no pun intended). In other words, I didn't like it.
People have suggested other books by him, and I sort of anticipate them being similar, but I'll try em'.
nice job. solid review. I gained a lot from it. and despite the lackluster recommendation, I'm still looking forward to giving it a read.
what are we talking about?
I don't know.
It was a first book by Palahniuk which I read.
To my mind it was wounderful. I love it.

I think it's a great book. It makes you appreciate the odd things in life. Well, that is how it rubbed me. Now I love womenly men. Ha.
As for me it (book) holds u in mystery to the end... Very interesting to read.
I read it for 2 days.

LOL!
also, I just read it. It was enjoyable, but it felt like not much was happening for the first 100 pages. They went very fast. I read Survivor right before that, so that might have taken away from the experience, but who knows.
Bringing this thread back to life.
I think fa is short for fat ass. And maybe the kid didn't gain anything from it because (s)he was expecting a huge life lesson from the book. Many of the twists were unexpected... which makes them good. And the ending was so good I went through it a few times.
