Survivor movie finally gets greenlight!
i think the end of the movie should end like the books page 1 ending, cut to credits, after the credits roll the "hidden" ending of the book/movie. it keeps it faithful to the format of the book...
just in case you guys didnt know, which i bet you did, there is a petition to save the Survivor-movie.

parlophone put out a mansun boxset after petitions from fans.
I gave up writing my shitty book because It sucked and I'm not clever enough to be able to finish it.
So I decided this would be worth my first post on here. I just finished Survivor, loved it, and would be extremely excited to see it turned into a film and maybe be as well done as Fight Club was. The online petition won't do anything, but I'm #11,375 anyway.
does every book HAVE to become a movie?
If everyone here has aleady read it.. you know it will never match yoru imagination....
11143. This WOULD make a great movie. Gimme Jim Carey as the lead, and bring it on!
does every book HAVE to become a movie?
no. but the good ones, yes.
I'm a real nice guy, loyal to his family and friends, like to help old people and I play well with children, but there is a very dark side to the moon. A predilection for the psychopathic, I have a history of violence I would like to herald always as ancient history. But some guys just wont listen, just wont let go.
Got Hasselhoff to number one.
Not to mention most of the fan-complaints fox got for cutting family guy were e-mails. Though that wasn't a petition.
If we're just bearly able to tip them over the edge and get them to finance the movie, you know the whole thing would be on their terms only. If we wait until there's a huge demand for this, only then could we get the movie we really want...or at least the attempt at it, no guarantee the film would be good anyways.
I think that the guy who played Nicolas Cages' brother in Face Off would be perfect for Tender..
Alessandro Nivola! I've been saying that since I first read the book.
Great minds, eh?
I actually had an image of Chuck with huge sideburns and a little heavier in my head when I read the book. Isn't there a pic somewhere of him with sideburns? I know I've seen it.

This has got to be, by far, my favorite Palahniuk book.
I really, really, realllllllly hope they do a movie.. however, on the terms alone that they really stay true to the book.

Just found the petition.
Just signed the petition.
Hope it helps. Although I don't think it will.
im really excited to be able to watch the scene of Fertility and Tender dancing in the department store, while its burning around them. It reminds me so much of Jack and Marla, at the end of Fight Club, except they're dancing.
I must say that one adaptation of the cemetary scene by the college crew was excellent as well.

My thoughts, exactly!!
No longer listed as a project "in development" on imdbpro.com. Anyone have any information? This may be my favorite book of all time and although it doesn't NEED to be a movie i think the story would lend itself very well to the big screen. What company has the rights to make the movie?
if this movie is made.
it needs to phenomenal
with amazing actors
becuase, this is probably the best book ive ever read
and it would be the single greatest movie since fight club

Try searching, it works.
Too many people called Alex.
i did not like the book
This isn't about the book. It's about the movie.
I did not like the movie.
Well that's not a fair judgment. Everything in the future blows.
When/If they make this into a movie, the only person who should even be thought of for Tender Branson is Kevin Spacey!
rainn wilson has to play tender/adam
