I just got my hands on a used SURVIVOR paperback (it´s pretty destroyed) and flipping though the books I realize that it jumps from page 34 to page 1.
It got me thinking, I called the bookstore for a refound and they´re cool about it the thing is... am I missing pages here? or the missing pages are on porpouse. Should I return it?

all right I have decided to keep my mutilated copy of survivor because it´s hard to get chucks book here. So if I have the original book, like in my case if I print some parts of it it will not be a violation to the copyright, am I right?
So I appeal to the good will of the cult members. My copy is the "US trade" (the one with the grey cover) I was hoping if someone could scan the missing pages for me and email them to me so I can witness Tender Branson destiny
The last page is I have is the 34 (end of chapter 9) after that I have no more pages except the last one.
So can you help a desperate fan in order to complete his mutilated copy?

Someone was probably tearing out those pages to get at the secret, hidden ending.

Good good, I was about to post this.....

Hushin.... don't be too vocal about scanning. It sure as hell pisses publishers off, who are now trying to make laws more stringent. Google was sued for copyright infringement when attempting to scan all the books in existence; they hired a ten year old immigrant platypus paying her in radishes and jelly bellies. But yeah, for what you're looking for chances are slim they'd cannibalize you. Also If you cut out the last thirty pages of Survivor and arrange them in erratic lines they spell out I CAN NOT SLEEP. You might want to try e-books.

....but it looks like you're all set.

So that´s what the ex owner of my book was trying to do?
Ok so now that I know that it means that MY 30 missing pages of MY book are lurking alone somewhere in the US. So if you see them around just report them back here.
Let´s start a campaing to reunite the book with his missing pages. For what I know my book has the sensation that he has those pages on him (just like the guys who lost an arm an still feel it)
The main advertise for this campaing will be posted here soon

As for the publisehrs: I have this mutilated copy of an Anchor book. If some Anchor guy is reading this I will be happy to return to you my mutilated copy if they are kind enough to send me a new one... but since I own it and I´m not selling it or making profit with the PDF version (I have already deleted it from my PC) I am not violating any law. Im in argentina. and it´s not like I can return the book and have a brand new copy. If I could I would, but that´s not an option here, returning the book will mean not having the chance to read it maybe for some years, until another SURVIVOR copy lands here... and most likely another tear up copy Chuck books here are a rare thing. and every oportunity I have to get my hands on one of them is a chance I wont miss. even with tear up copies.
