By what I've read of Chuck's books so far, they're quick and easy reads. By random name association, I came across Chuck's book Lullaby in Borders and a lightbulb struck. I remember this guy. But the book Lullaby itself didn't scratch my itch. I searched the fiction section and found Survivor. I finished it in two days, and it's safe to say - I'm hooked. I already picked up Choke today and am well into it.

That said, how long did it take you to finish Survivor?

Two evenings.

It's so well written. It's the first book I've read by Chuck.

3 days. For me that was a real acomplishment. Before that I had never finished a book in less than a month. Ever since then I've been reading almost every day.

I read it in about...4 days?

Yeah, That sounds right.

I really never get chances to read, so I'm usually sitting in class reading and I get in trouble for it.

In about a month and a half time, I finished Chuck's first four books. I think Survivor went the quickest. For some reason Choke took me the longest to read. I have to say one thing though about Chucks' books. They're real easy to pick right up where you left off reading, and they are good for multiple readings.

First time it took a little less than 2 days.

Second time I read it it took 4 days.

Funny thing, that's exactly the opposite of my opinion.

It took me a few long sittings, but I was reading it to someone over the phone, which takes longer than reading to yourself.

Yeah I really can't get into Lullaby. I've read Survivor and Choke, but once I hit Lullaby, it had me grounded. Do you have any other suggestions as to the next-best of his books? You seem to be of the same taste as I.

The first time I read it it was for a class. I probably read it in 20 hours over about a week.

2 days.
"Survivor" is officially my favourite Palahniuk book so far, thus knocking "Choke" down to second.

It took one night and two days. I was hooked from the get go and couldn't put it down. Upon completing that, I procceded to complete every Palahniuk book within the exact same time span.
