I am trying to complete my collection of first/first chuck novels and I was wondering if anyone can confirm something I have read and seen in photos about Survivor.

Is the back flap of the dust jacket (the part that tucks into the hardcover book) blank on true first printings? The one I have contains an orange background with text and a head shot of Chuck. I have attached a photo for reference. If anyone can confirm this in writing or with a photo that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Actually i have just learned that the difference is that the photographer's name is missing on the first state dust jacket.

Can anyone please confirm if Rodrigo Corral is that missing name or if later Hardcover books have 2 credits listed (Rodrigo and someone else).

Thanks again everyone for your help.

Honestly, I have no idea. I just like his books.

If you have a Survivor Hardcover I would appreciate it if you could look at the back flap and see if there are more than one credit listed. 1 should be for the book jacket design and the other should be for a photographer.

My survivor hard cover looks nothing like that? Is that a US edition?

are you wondering if someone stuck a different dust jacket on your book? because to tell if it's a 1st/1st you should be looking at that library of congress page at the beginning of the book.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the replies.

I am not concerned about the actual book itself... I know it is a first/first.

I just want to know if someone who has a US hardcover edition of Survivor to look at the inside back flap and let me know if there is a credit line for the photographer separate from the "Jacket design by Rodrigo Corral" credit line.

It would be greatly appreciated if someone could check and let me know.

Thanks in advance and have a good night.
