so they were gonna make survivor a movie..but sept 11th bitched it out?
such a shame....i can see that being a very amazing movie....however....who would play tender branson?.....kevin spacy i'd say...
you'll never walk alone.
spacy is to old ....hes amazing but i dont think it could work. i have mixed feelings about having it be a movie...i guess i just dont want to take the chance of it mashing such a great book

corona.bc.ca said some star actress just bought the rights to it or something. they wouldn't say who. Christian Bale could play any Palahniuk hero. well, maybe not invisible monsters. but did you see that fucker in american psycho? now I would've never thought THAT book would be filmed.
Shop smart. Shop S-Mart.

Favorite book EVARRRRRRRRRRR
I loved Survivor. And I always wanted it to be a movie. And you know what? Edward Nortan would be perfect for the part of Tender, in my opinion. But you can't have him. Everyone would think it was a Fight Club 2.
How about Ralph Fiennes. He likes to play tortured souls. He's probabley too old for the part though, just like Kevin Spacey.
There is a difference between a pyschopath and a neurotic. A pyschopath thinks two and two are five. A neurotic knows that two and two are four, but he worries about it.
I decided to read the book again. So I took it to school with me, and this girl was like "a lot of my friends are reading that book" I responded "yeah, chuck's my favoirite author. I've read this book 3 or 4 times already." all she said was "ohhh"
I get that reaction when talking about Chuck Palahniuk books, to people who haven't read one before ( I don't go into much detail, incase they read any of his books.), but trying to get somebody to read a CP book, who hasn't read one before is very difficult.

many hot babes dont read. or if ever, they read sex stories and porn magazines. They also like to surf the web for porn.

I am jack's irrational fear
HEY NOW!!! i'm taking offense to that, i happen to be a "hot babe" thank you very much, and i read so blah there

yeah, i'm still in the process of trying to get my friends to read some chuck P. books. it IS hard. so far, one's read survivor, and thought it was the most messed up book ever, but she liked it. another one read lullaby, and liked it, but thats about it. i gave someone survivor as a birthday present. another friend is reading huk's books for a school project - on my advice, of course.
overall, i'd say my efforts are semi-sucessful, but no fan club yet. or should i say cult... but i'm working on it

Man everyone knows that how attracitve you are is not subjective, and is inversely related to how much you read, which is also not subjective.
*wipes drool*
Yeah, let me add my name to the list of people who think that Survivor is the best of Chuck's books so far. It made me laugh, it made me cry.
I also think Survivor is Chucks best book so far, out of all of his books I've read, which include; Fight Club, Survivor, Lullaby, and I'm currently reading Invisible Monsters.

I think Kevin Spacey would make a very decent Tender. I don't think he's too old for the part, and he has the certain half-attractive quality I imagine in Tender.
Anything to look forward to? Well, the second best book ever written. (the best is House of Leaves)
blah blah blah

Wow. This little thread got CRAZY. People telling me to abuse my girlfriend, people showing an alarming lack of respect for women as a whole, people questioning my masculinity in some kind of bizarre machoistic pissing-contest. Hell, I even got called stuffy.
