I drive a lot and have become highly addicted to the audiobook format. Anyone else? I loved the audiobook version of this, read by Paul Garcia. His voice inflections, his timing... all pretty much tip-top.

Anyone else?

I love audiobooks, especially with the two hours or so a day I have to commute.

Last I'd checked, Survivor wasn't out as an audiobook.  One of my faves of Chucks books, though.  Check that, it is my all time favorite Chuck book, I've read it more times through than any other novel I can think of.  Popped for autographed first edition hardback and keep my autographed trade paperback for missionary work (loaning to people yet to bask in the glow of his Chuckness).

I'm stoked, I'll have to ILL Garcia's reading of it.

I got it from audible.com - a couple quick searches and you'll have it. 2 hours, eh? damn. I drive from Orange County (land of the Yeah Bro! - you gotta high five somebody if you say it out loud) to Hollywood (land of the "C'mon, brrro" - gotta roll the "r's" its a Persian thing) for work. Got any suggestions or good read/listens? Survivor, I hate to admit, was only my second CP book. I read hardcopy of Lullaby... let's just say I needed some talking into before I spent my credits on Survivor, but... wow. Loved that book. I've never met Chuck but I've decided that if he doesn't talk just like that I'll need to speak to a manager.

Damn, this site is freaking slow.

I've listened to two of Chuck's books: Diary, read by Martha Plimpton (she was EXCELLENT); and Survivor. And listening to Survivor was a wonderful experience. The narrator was great--like Salamander said, his inflections, his phrasing: un-freaking-believeable. For days, I kept thinking about how he talked. His voice and style was perfect for the book. Even now I can hear his voice in my head saying, "Been there.  Done that."

BTW, if you need an audiobook, go to your local public library! I they don't have it, ask the librarian to go outside the system and get it from another library. (Throw the words "WorldCat" or "OCLC" at them--they'll either be impressed, or hate you!) Anyway, they can even bring materials in from another state. We do it all the time for our patrons, so just ask. If the librarian won't cooperate, find out why, and fill out a comment form on the issue.

Richard Poe reading Lullaby is about as good as it gets.  And Palahniuk read Choke himself, excellently.  Martha Plimpton reading Diary was in many ways better than reading the book itself.  I forget who narrated the Fight Club audio book, but I wasn't as impressed with it.

I'll have to check out those other audiobooks--I LOVE audiobooks. I'm almost disappointed that my commute isn't longer!
