would you kill given impunity?
well, if my english is right in this topic i wanna know if you would kill if you could. if there was no punishment. if you could kill, who would you kill
not even a celebrity. we all say we wanna off the backstreet boys, or whoever, but i know you dont feel a deep rooted hate.
i'd consider my class, and then myself
im glad i live in canada and couldnt get my hands on a gun if i tried.
I'm waiting for you. With butterflies.
a nice tight smg in one hand, one of those ones with multiple clips... or an automatic shot gun... and a joint... yea...
i should go to bed before someone calls the cops.
I'm waiting for you. With butterflies.
Interesting. I'd have to say that I wouldn't kill someone, just to kill them. I'd have to really passionately dislike them, even if only for that brief fraction of a second when I pulled the trigger. And it would have to look cool when I was done, not just blam suddenly my victim is lying on the floor. I'd have to calculate the angle to get the most beautiful spray of blood and brain matter on the wall. If I ever killed, it would be a work of art, not an act of hate.
youre contradicting yourself almost there rents, not an act of hate, but you would really have to dislike them?
i just want to see the look on the faces of everybody when they realize what years of pent up hate and supressed agression has done.
I'm waiting for you. With butterflies.
yeah yeah, I realized that when I posted it and hoped it would slip by. Well, sorta. For me, hate is something that's deep-rooted, "pent up" as you said of a period of years. For me, strong dislike can happen in a matter of moments and for the smallest, stupidest things. Like, for example, when you live in close quarters with someone you consider a friend for an extended period of time, you still have those moments when you really want to see what their brains would look like splattered against the wall. That's what I'm talking about when I say dislike. But the murder would still have to be a piece of art. The body is too powerful a medium to waste by simply letting it slump on the floor and rot.
agreed, but im looking for reaction, you only get one perfect moment in your scenario, i just want to see the expressions, then the realization.
I'm waiting for you. With butterflies.
nah, random senseless killing is always best. just imagine driving on the highway shooting people out of your way! It'd be like a video game!
bite me
thats what video games are for, i dont have remourse (kitty, correct my spelling!) and a concience (there too!)
i couldnt just kill, i'd feel pretty bad, im not natural born, i've just been bread by schools to hate
I'm waiting for you. With butterflies.
No. I would never kill somebody. I'm too forgiving.
as far as i know i wouldnt, altho i would be incredibly tempted.

worhumon... this is a post to say who you would if you were gona. no to tsay you would never
I'm waiting for you. With butterflies.
I never thought just shooting someone and killing them instantely was enough. If I truly, truly hated someone, enough to want to kill them, I'd rather they suffer dearly and deeply than just die off.
i didnt say kill them with a gun, thats just me\
youre thom york thing is screwing me up
I'm waiting for you. With butterflies.
I think if I could kill if it was w/o any repercusion I would almost see it as a responsibility. I'd do some intense research and and make a list and go out and do my job. (Thats all been brilliantly explored in the Dead Zone by Stephen King)
I have to say killing as a work of art just really disturbs me. I can't imagine exchanging a single human life for my own happiness or curiosity.
I don't have any idea what happens after we die but just the idea of snuffing out the existance of what could be the single experience of consiousness, sentience whatnot of another human being is incredibly repugnant. I could never see it as art. I could see it as vengeance or justice, but not art.
Of course, this is all coming from someone that read Crime & Punishment and thought to herself "I would never fucking confess"
If life is art, why not death?
bite me
i dont think life is art
life can be, depends how you live
death can be, depends how you die
life is art only if someone else controls it
death is art only if someone else controls it
get it?
I'm waiting for you. With butterflies.
Little kids draw pictures of the ground, the sky, and space in between. If you ask them what the in-between space is, they say 'that's where we are.' - Ed McCullough
I understand where you're coming from RgG, you believe control has to play a factor in it. I'm saying it doesn't. No matter how you live, life is an art. Can you think of an example where it is not? There are multiple ways to think of it. John Cage showed us how everyday sounds can be art (4'33"), Warhol showed us the things around us, countless artists have shown the body as art, performance art, blah blah blah everything is art.
bite me
yea, but not everything is appreciated, therefor, to some, its not art.
people look at that guy who took a blue shit and turned their heads
that wasnt art TO THEM.
thats the point tho
if you kill a guy, you can make it artful, but through living,,, i dunno, you have to define meaning then, did mother teresa live an artful life? i dunno
what about the most slothful guy possible?
you'd have to stretch pretty far to be all encompasing.
art is controaled, even the abstract sloshes of paint. the colour was chosen, the direction and force used.
all controled... but what if god doesnt exist,,, then we arnt controled.
life is only art if there is a god.
woa,,, thats deep
I'm waiting for you. With butterflies.
if i hated someone enough i wouldnt want to kill them. id wanna fight them, beat the shit outta them. and let them live knowing how fucking nuts i can get and that if they fuck with me i'll come after them again. in the end i'll either get a lil respect form the guy or form others, win win situation. but id never kill a someone.
and RgG, dont worry bout your class, soon you'll be outta school and wont have to deal with any of those fuckers again, escept when orderring your food from them at a mcdonalds or something 20 years later.
life is only art if there is a god??? think about that statement now with a few days of clarity. Gravity isn't controlling? It doesn't affect the sploshing of paint? What about the painters' abusive upbringing? Doesn't that control the output of his art? If you believe control is a necessary factor of art, then there are enough examples to make it all-encompassing. I would suggest that randomness is art too.
that slothful guy is some beautiful art. If art is dependent upon the perception that it is art, and I say (as do others) that everything is art, then everything is art. IOW, anything is perceived as art to someone.
Did Mother Theresa (sp?) live a beautiful life? Couldn't that be art? Slothboy lived a crappy life. There's an art to that too. It takes quite a commitment to be that way. It should be revered.
Back to the topic: KILL EVERYONE NOW
bite me
if we are talking killing as in using a gun or a knife...then I probably would not.
...now if we were talking about saying a little poem to oneself and watching the asshole hit the pavement....

I'm waiting for you. With butterflies.
On the question, frankly, no, i just can't really think about someone that i hate so much that i want to kill them (and even the one or two people, they're not worth the effort neither the suffering their murder would give me and the people that love them) and i just don't feel that i want to randomly kill people. That said, if i could rip out the throath of a corrupt polititian or a dictator, i gladly would, kind of like Chase (Dr. House) in that Dibala Chapter.

there would be multiple deaths cause by me on the road every day to work. But then, I'd be killed as well. Nevertheless, I've always had the fantasy of shooting a .44 with my right hand out of my sun roof while driving to Pantera with my left. What fun!
