I used to think that Tyler Durden was the ultimate role model. He is not the ultimate role model. If he was, that would mean that HE controls your life, not you. Only when you make Tyler your own, when you integrate him into yourself, when you begin to think as Tyler thinks, you're in control. Quit looking up to/worshipping Tyler and just take his advice. "Stop the excessive shopping and masturbation. Get out of your apartment. Meet a member of the opposite sex. Quit your job. Start a fight. Prove your alive. -Tyler's Warning" The rest comes pretty naturally after that.
