honestly, i've never heard this term before fight club and I was wondering what in the hell it means.
wasn't it in reference to bob?
if so i just took to it mean a big fellow.

yeah, that's what i figured... it just seemed a little redundant you know? big moosey... (if moosey means big guy then it's like saying big big guy... )
but would that really be it? because moose are big animals, though they are more lean than fat, no?
although they are big, so i suppose it would suffice. its just seems to be an odd reference.

people are always redundant with the things they say. so calling someone a "big moosey" isn't that odd. and like vig said, there's no need to break down the smallest details of it, in doing so you lose the whole idea behind the big picture.

its an old american reference from the 50s used mostly for college football players,,, line backers,,, or whoever is huge and fat and dumb looking. it was more of a description, kinda like "jock"
