Quick question..Help appreciated

Hello
I was wondering if anyone could help me out with something.
I, admittedly, got on to the Palahniuk train more than a little late. I have since read and purchased all of his books, with the exception of Snuff. This is because all the other books (save fugetives and refugees) I bought in paper back. This wasn’t problematic until rant came out and I had to wait a year for the paperback. I do not wish to go through the wait again, and in 6 weeks only 3 people at the local library have finished the book, pretty much keeping me stuck in the hell of 9th in line for what is apparently going to be, eternity. What I was wondering was,
is there a way to get a copy in paperback now?
 
I found a couple of web sites advertising them but they are shipping from germany and don’t know if I should order them, because it could be the book but I cant read in german.
 
Any help would be awesome, Thanks.
 
(Just a side note, I actually prefer paperback versions of books, cause I don’t like dust jackets)

i also hate dust jackets... so i take them off. well, its also generally that i dont want it to get ruined...

other than that, i cant really help you.

yes.  you can buy the book every week or so on ebay in paperback ARC form.  now that the book has released they sell for about the cost of the hard back, simply as a collector's edition.

 

i feel you, as i always prefer to read a book first as a soft cover.  i just enjoy the read more that way, something oral about the way i twist the covers and and can hold the book in any sitting position and not be constrained by hardboards.  i tend to mangle my books, which for the most part is corrected in a few months of wedging the book in the middle of a shelf.

 

your best bet:  keep eyes on ebay for an arc or advnaced reader's copy of snuff, as it is a very nice soft cover edition.  plus, it will remain a collector's item.

You should be able to get a paperback copy at Barnes & Noble or anywhere.
