Pygmy - someone please enlighten me
I'm probably just really out of the "loop," as it were, but on Amazon, Pygmy has been tagged 16 times with 'Joseph Suglia' and 13 times with 'Suglia' while 'Chuck Palahniuk' is only tagged 3 and 'Palahniuk' 2.
What does Suglia have to do with this book? I remember reading something he wrote a while back disparaging CP and his work, but seriously. Someone put me in-the-know.... because I'm clueless.

as for the mentioned disparage:
from what i remember: because he can write well, he feels he should have more fans than chuck. though chuck is a workhorse and makes readings crazy and tours a lot and writes his ass off. suglia, ive never seen him make any noise on the internet or anything except diss another writer. maybe he has too much biggie-and-pac in him.
unlike, say, that chuck dude who in pretty much every interview names countless writers who write the way he wants to write one day. he's still learning and always trying new things. suglia maybe feels that his own work is the best that it could ever be? who knows. blah blah

I figured Suglia was most likely behind it, but since I'm not around that much, I wasn't sure if I'd missed some kind of connection other than Suglia talking smack and whatnot.
One person posts a crazy tag and people jump on it with nothing better to do.

Suglia is nuts. He used to pose as a Suglia fan and troll this forum. Too bad I can't find the threads.
It was pretty entertaining though.

I don't know who this Suglia is, and he doesn't seem worth knowing.
