I have read two of Chuck's novels: Fight Club and then Diary, and I loved them both. I have become a big fan of Chucks style of writing, and would love to read more. I am wondering, which book should I read next? Any suggestions?

it seems to me that people tend to end up in one of two catagories (and keep in mind this is a huge generalization...) but in my experience it breaks down like this:
readers either love
Survivor + Diary + Haunted most
or
Invisible Monsters + Choke + Lullabye most.
myself being in the former catagory, I would tell you to read Survivor or Haunted.
yeah. i vote for Survivor. but you know, when i began reading Chuck i was all backwards and ended up reading my very favorite first, Diary. it was kind of like eating the best meal of my life, but being slightly disappointed with the last bite. that last bite is supposed to be the best.

i will thwart that theory and say my two favs are

survivor and choke, and i would suggest you read either of those next - here is my personal order of rankings (scale of 1-10):

survivor 9
choke 9
lullaby 8
diary 8
fight club 7
haunted 7
all the non-fiction 7

i don't think any sucked

Choke. I didn't get much out of it, but I think I would have enjoyed it more if it hadn't been the last polly that I had read. I would read Choke, then Survivor, and use Invisible Monsters as the grand finale. Afterwards, move on to Haunted and Stranger Than Fiction and the like. Don't bother with Lullaby until you're desperate.

i just finished 'lullaby'.. i liked it.
'haunted' kicks ass-- it's also really entertaining on disc.
loooved 'choke'-- i love the thought of little old ladies flossing.
'survivor' + 'fight club' + 'diary' are really good.
'stranger than fiction' was my n.y.c. trip read and my SAVIOR at times... arguing

I haven't read Haunted but I can say that,
Choke, Survivor > best
Diary > worst ( maybe worst isn't the right word but Diary isn't as good as them )

You haven't read Chuck's work until you have read "Invisible Monsters"

If this question is still valid, I would suggest Invisible Monsters and Survivor.

They're all worth reading. I don't think I liked Choke or Lullaby very much though. Invisible Monsters and Survivor are both great. Fight Club I'm sure would be my favourite if I hadn't seen the film. Haunted's full of great short stories and Diary is a sad story about a woman who's family doesn't love her. Sad
