Writing Short Stories....????
OK,so I am new to The Cult, and I was just wondering if anyone on here had any expertise in writing/editing/reviewing short stories.
Or I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of where on this site I could go to submit stories for peer editing/review/critique, that kind of stuff...??

what brought you here: did you hear about the cult, read about it, or just stumble upon it?
im glad to read youre taking your writing to a different level. i have friends who are closet writers. passionate, but they'd never join a workshop--which is odd because i moderate a huge fucking badass one.
anyway..
the cult has an incredible workshop. it has been marred by glitches and non-working modules this year, but that will be fixed in the new year. and the word is, chuck himself will be here to explain what's new on new years day.
as for how to review: you'll find subjects on that in the workshop forums once you get your premium membership. that's when you can start reading chuck's essays on the craft. but even non-premium members can read a few essays by other writers here:

you can find all kinds of cool shit here for free, but for peer to peer review and the pull and push element of the workshop, you have to purchase a premium membership. remember that you should craft the kinds of reviews you are looking to receive. craft five reviews before you submit your first piece. that's kind of the gentleman's gentlewoman's rule of thumb until the five to one ratio is restored (as id mentioned, the workshop does function but it is currently marred with glitches).
if you come across any questions at all, you are always welcomed to private message me, or big vig (mark, aka vigorous puppy) as he's the workshop administrator. (and then he'll make me take care of it 
playing. none of the admin or moderators are unapproachable to answer questions you might have. so welcome to the cult and i look forward to seeing you in the workshop and working with you in the coming year
